Were The Kraang already stranded on Earth when the show started? I don’t recall their portal ever working until the end of season 1, but it’s been a while since I did a full series marathon.

Well, both Kurtzman and Kraang Subprime have said that the Kraang invasion was ancient, heck Kraang Prime himself said that the Kraang were responsible for mutating Monkeys into human beings. So yeah, they have been on earth for a VERY long time.

Right. I just meant “stranded” as in every Kraang on Earth was cut off from Dimension X during most of Season 1.
