Given the Karate Kid movie announcement, would it really be too surprising if Jackie Chan is going to show up? I just hope it's not at the expense of Swank showing up. And I didn't even really want to see Jackie Chan in this universe.

I just finished this and unless I missed this team up that would make us go nuts……nothing?

This would be something like Daniel and Kreese or Johnny and Silver teamming up that would make me go nuts lol

Finished the last 5 eps and the show, and it was good. There weren't any real plot twists or surprises in the last few eps, but they hit all the high notes people were expecting and gave the main characters their wins, so it felt like the journey was worth it. All the main kids got their moments in the end, even the ones who didn't fight, so it was nice to see them all fill their roles.

Kreese and Terry's final scenes together were also fantastic, and a nice way to see them out.

What I also liked is the showrunners remembered the show was called "Cobra Kai" and that it started with Johnny and Miguel, so it ended with them being the two most important in the end. We also know Daniel has the Jackie Chan Karate Kid movie coming up, so we haven't seen the last of him either.

The Asian bully kid from the earlier seasons didn't get a final appearance in these (forgot his name), and that fat black female from Season 1 didn't return either, I guess she wanted nothing to do with the show anymore. But they were the only two characters missing from what I can recall.

Also Johnny's actor did some of his best acting in these last eps. Really makes his journey from Season 1 and even from the first Karate Kid movie feel like an amazing run.

I wasn't really holding my breath for it anyway. At some point, it became unlikely. It's nice to see that it was considered and attempted though. I guess I'll now have to make it a point to watch the Karate Kid remake with Jackie Chan some time.

I believe I'm satisfied with the way the series ended. It's just too bad that Kreese had to go out the way he did, although Terry got what was coming to him.

I guess that was just about Miyagi Do stepping aside and Daniel "joining" Cobra Kai for that last match. But definitely not remotely what I was thinking.

Sad, if true, and in a somewhat ironic way since their characters are supposed to be sympathetic to each other in the fictional universe.

Also... Hannah-Kim is only 37? I don't want to even say how old I assumed she was.

How old did you think? I actually thought she was about 30ish, but PLAYING like 45-49.

I guess the Kove-Alicia incident WAS at my convention. Apparently over at the photo op place. It must have happened during their photo ops which were about 30 minutes after I left on Saturday.

Yikes, what happened? Asians, especially Asian women, tend to age really well. She looks almost 20 years older than she should be. That's crazy, she looks old enough to be my grandma.

I was just thinking when she was training Tory, those eps were filmed a few years ago so she must have only been 35 or younger when filming those episodes. Tory was around 24-25 then so the Asian woman is only 10 years older than her in real life?

That's crazy, she really does look 20 years older than she is. No way would I think she's only 10 years older than most of the kids on the show. I really thought she was late 40's and early 50's by the time the show aired.

Asian women are supposed to age gracefully, what is going on? She was younger than me when filming those episodes and I look like a kid next to her. This is blowing my mind.

That’s so weird! I think if a co-worker was horsing around with me in public and something turned into a bite, I would be so confused and bewildered I don’t think I could get security or police involved. Maybe it’s a further development of something that happened on the Cobra Kai set? Or maybe Kove has a really bizarre sense of fun? Like… did he think he was play biting one of his grandkids (old people sometimes do that for reasons unknown to me)?
