I'm from Venezuela.

No one complaining about what Trump did in Venezuela cared about what has happened there in the last 26 years: a bloody dictatorship that has killed thousands of Venezuelans, and even foreigners.

A dictatorship that has used oil and money to finance terrorism and support Cuba, China, Iran, Russia, and Hezbollah.

A dictatorship that has created cartels and criminal groups like the Tren de Aragua, which now operate in the United States and other countries.

A dictatorship that keeps in this moment, teeenagers, adults imprisoned where they are tortured every day, many have already died.

I´m happy to what happened. Videos from around the world celebrating the capture of Maduro are real. The only place were we can´t go out to celebrate is Venezuela, armed groups, known as "colectivos," are checking the cell phones of passersby; if they find anything indicating that you are celebrating Maduro's arrest, you are sent to jail.

Judging by his location listed in Mendoza, I think he's not in Venezuela anymore.

Intervention in Iran is also looking likely after Trump threatened to stop Iran's killing of protestors.

2026 is off to an amazing start. Americans will continue to get poorer, but the money poured into the Military Industrial Complex seems to be never ending.

My country also had an FBI office constructed last year which is stupid. I'm hoping the current government in power in New Zealand gets voted out so we can expel the FBI office, end our support for Israel and stop pouring tens of millions into Ukraine.

The only complaint I have about what happened in Venezuela is that nothing went through Congress for approval first, as should be lawfully done. But then again by now we know the government ride roughshod over the Constitution and "due process" of the law...

We had someone from Venezuela on our engineering course at university (also helped she was incredibly pretty). Part of the reason for coming to the UK to study was to get the **** out of the country due to how things were going. Don't really blame her to be fair. The same applied to a few of the other students in our year from other countries.

As I said, this is going to rumble onwards but it’s the making of how ICE has been allowed to operate that has manifested the incident. Frankly I'm shocked it’s taken this long. Is it partly the female driver’s fault? Yes. But let’s look at the evidence.

You’re a woman, and most of us here are not so we’ve generally not had to live under the circumstances that women deal with instead in life. You are in a car and several masked, unidentified men (they never state at any point who they are), one with a weapon out, approach and scream at you to exit the vehicle. Do you:

A) exit the vehicle (which has ALWAYS gone so well for women in that situation based on past evidence

) or

B) get the **** out of Dodge when they try to open the door?

So, no, I don’t really blame her for picking option B and you can see she turns the wheels to drive off to the right and not actually at the officer. He’s already drawn his weapon while the vehicle reverses and stops before it then moves forward. We need his bodycam footage to assess his position better. Bet they didn’t have it rolling though.

It has the potential to ignite matters again like George Floyd did.
