I know there is a threas for dreams but I legit felt so happy and giggly after this dream, coz it's funny as heck.

So in my dream, I am in the technodrome forums and its this Virtual Reality playstation home type thing where we all interact as real people. It's just another day, when there's this Chinese-Russian guy who catches everyone's attention and it turns out, we were all suspicious because its Sumac again!

Before the mods are video called by another member to intervene, Sumac sends me this lengthy private message telling me that he loves me and apologises for everything. I accept his apology and we meet in person and embrace, with Sumac telling me that he misses interacting with me after getting banned for the 2nd time.

We then agree to be friends and we both walk over to Andrew and ToTheNines are chilling in the corner, to let them know that Sumac is back. Both members look at Sumac with hands out like "Ayyyye wassupp homiieee, come chill with us dawwwgggg"..

All is well and good before a storm brews in the technodrome VR space and we feel the mod powers unleash their ban hammer in the form of turning Sumac into an inanimate machine. Sumac then begins tearing up as he realises what's happening to him and hugs me tightly, while saying to me "I'll miss you man!!!!"

I then say in my final words "What's that thing you used to say to me?" To which Sumac then says "Zeaaaallllllooooottttt" while his hug gets tighter and his tears become more prominent. He then keeps repeating the word Zealot affectionally, until he is completely metalicised and banned yet again, with Andrew and Nines in the corner being like "noooooooooooo"

Then I woke up. Yes, I actually dreamt this an hour ago and no, I do not drink, smoke or consume any illicit substances.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

What on earth. Okay, that had to be bad leftovers that should have been thrown out rather than eaten, right? lol

I was very happy to meet Winston Peters, the Foreign Minister of New Zealand recently. Great guy in my opinion.

I wished him all the best for his upcoming appearance at the United Nations in New York this September.

Gave me a chuckle...

Heard something, prob a mouse, fussing around a couple days ago so I set up the traps again to try to nip this year's intruders in the bud. This evening I heard something that sounded like it came from the basement then realized it was possibly a trap snapping. Checked on it and sure enough something tripped it, but it was laying on its side and nothing caught. For a moment I feared it was a rat again. (After last fall was the first time we EVER had one, and inevitably due to cruddy people across the road who were finally kicked out by their landlord and the literal trashy backyard cleaned up.)

I knocked the trap back up right with my foot and stepped on it to reset it... and out popped a big field cricket. Completely fine, but I'm sure wondering wtf just happened. LOL I'm kind of surprised it was heavy enough to set the trap off, but glad to know they're that sensative.

Another laugh...

Game sever I play on shut down to update to the next expansion. Jokingly I just tried to use AI to make images of my characters packing up. (Because they have a lot of junk to take along, okay. Other in-game hoarders understand.)

Me: Make this dude packing his clothes into a suitcase.

AI: You mean ALL of it?

Well, no, he still needs to wear something on the trip.

The gender stuff with AI is in a really odd place. On one hand, it's hard to describe my female characters without it blocking or having it just do cookie cutter Instragram girls otherwise. (Thanks porn addicts for making it have overdone filters that limit women in it.) On the other hand, it goes for shirtless male characters on its own, even when it's not what I intended. Not that I'm complaining, but eesh, I shouldn't have to specifically ask for a shirt. LOL And even then, asking for more coverage doesn't always work.

Honestly, I'm not sure about the choice to make the cars nearly the same color, but I'm happy for them. Lol

Would have made more sense than Harry and Ginny, lol.

This might as well go into the "What grinds your gears" thread but anyway: A couple of months ago, I became the head of our school library which had been closed for at least two years now and it is now my mission to supervise the re-opening within one year. So, yesterday the boss calls me to tell me that I get 5000 bucks to get new books which I'm free to select myself. Amazing!

But of course, there's a catch: Since the 5k are leftovers from this year's school budget, I need to write a list of all the books I'm going to buy until Monday, then wait for approval and finally order them until next Friday! If I can't make the deadline - the money is lost! German bureaucracy at its best...

That's awesome on the reopening i! And, well, at least getting funds waved at you for it? Good luck in your weekend book title hunt, assuming that's basically how your weekend is looking at this point.

Oh absolutely. I spent a good four hours yesterday (on top of my usual work day that is) on the list and only got to 2k Euro worth of books so far. Now it's right back to work!

Admittedly, it's been a ton of fun.

With some help by a colleague and the local book store, I got it done. Of course, the book store gave us a 10 per cent discount which made it even more difficult lol. I mostly included hardcover editions and added some boardgames as well.

For yesterday, got to see Kenn Scott, Brian Tochi, Robbie Rist, Ernie Reyes Jr., François Chau, Michael Bell, and Brandon McKinney again, reminisce about more TMNT history and just mingle some more. I also met Bret Irwin and Bill Farmer, Mickey and Goofy; I asked Bret if he ever talked to or met his predecessor Wayne Allwine, he told me he didn't but was close to Russi Taylor, also asked him what he thought about Mickey ever acting angry as opposed to being Mr Nice Guy all the time; he said it made Mickey appear more human, and there were a number of times Mickey acted angry, including in the House Of Mouse toons and elsewhere; Bill along with being Goofy was also reporter Justin Ballard-Watkins in the original Robocop, I asked if it was fun shooting that movie, he said it was even though he was shooting his scenes in Dallas at 1AM in the morning and it was 96 degrees outside. Also got to meet Ernie Reyes Jr.'s son Phoenix.

Glad to have gotten a wallet returned to a guy.

While I wasn't too thrilled last night to be expected to go out to dinner late, I spotted the wallet laying on the sidewalk in the parking lot. Unfortunately, it's a shopping center and in a spot between places, so was not able to tell where the owner might have gone. If it had been right in front of the restaurant we'd have just left it with them.

Hunted FB, found a name match... pics could be the guy on the drivers license, but boats in the pics had a town down state printed on them. Used a people search site, found a name with associated known address areas local AND down state, so took a chance and messaged him. Happy to say it was him (after confirming the address on the license) and he picked it up from our mailbox.

I'd have otherwise just mailed it to the address tomorrow, but glad to releave him of the stress sooner than that.

That would have been cool , but nah. It's fine, just pass it on, guy, whoever you are. Saw a kid hop out of a silver car to get it, so maybe a small lesson will stick in that young mind.

For yesterday, got to meet another several celebrities, including Matt Hill, Samuel Vincent, Tony Sampson, Marty Grabstein, Don Bluth, Gabriel Damon, Catherine Cavadini, Candace Hutson, Allison Moore, Dan Molina, and Candi Milo. Matt Hill makes the third Raphael I've met and shook hands with, after Rob Paulsen and Kenn Scott. Confirmed with Sam Vincent how he enjoys doing nerdy type characters. Tony Sampson was pretty cool, wearing an "Eddy" shirt a fan gave him; I asked him if he was a big cartoon lover, he said he liked the older stuff, like Looney Tunes, not much modern day stuff; he mentioned to me about the upcoming Wile and Acme movie; I asked if he liked those episodes where Wile actually talked, and he said he didn't care for them. Catherine mentioned to me how despite Blossom's color, she used to not like the color pink, though she did like orange, kinda like Blossom's hair; I asked her if she believed herself to be the "everything nice" one in the Powerpuff Girls, with Bubbles being "sugar", and Buttercup being "spice"; she said she believed the girls maybe were a fair mixture or all three, plus the Chemical X or course. Gabriel was interesting to talk to, reminiscing about his memories on Robocop 2, the types of guns he used; I mentioned that I had a fair amount of interest in guns also; I mentioned that guys like Peter Weller and Tom Noonan (who recently passed) must have been fun to work with, and he agreed.
