Video Game Compilations that you wish existed

I love video game compilation games like the Cowabunga collection, the Mortal Kombat kollection, and the Megaman compilations. I know that roms exist, but I like the feeling of owning games. There are so many great compilation games that exist now, and it's great for us older people. What are some compilation games that you wish existed? Mine are:

1. X Men collection - One with the Sega games, Snes games, and the Game Gear games. That would be so much fun being able to own all of those again.

2. Tiny Toons collection - I don't watch the cartoon now, but I loved it as a kid. However, there were some amazing games that came out back in the day when Konami had the rights. There were some great games on the Nes, Snes, Gameboy, and sega. A very nice track record for licensed games.

3. Adventure Island - I am a fan of this series and especially the Snes games. So many good, but difficult games on the Nes, Snes, and Gameboy. There is a Wonderboy collection, so maybe it could happen.

I'll see your Tiny Toons collection and raise you an Animaniacs. Or, better yet, put the two together; call it the Wacky Pack or something like that. It would be excellent to see that get made.

I'd also love to see Capcom do a collection of Mickey's Magical Quest games. Those were a ton of fun on the SNES and GBA back in the day.

They really missed the boat on all the marvel games from the 90s and early 2000s. I know the licensing was a pain but I bet the sales would have been worth figuring it out.

But now we are getting to the point where I wouldn’t want to play through those games as much anymore. It’d be like a nostalgic “play for 10 minutes then bail” experience with each game for me now rather than an experience that would still immerse me.

5-10 years ago I would have devoured all the classic spidey, x-men, punisher, etc games

Great thread!

1. Jak and Daxter 4 (No, I don’t count Combat Racing, and whoever made The Lost Frontier should be shot). Naughty Dog should have kept that series going. I never cared about Uncharted.

2. An actually good TMNT fighting game.

3. A sh*tty Next Mutation game on PS1.

Unrelated to #2, I wish the TMNT could be in a Smash Bros. I know they don’t qualify, legally, but they’re legitimate Nintendo legends in my mind.

Oh wait, I missed the “compilation” part of the thread title lol. Sorry.

In that case:

1. All of the Konami TMNT stuff from 2003-2009.

2. Post-Naughty Dog Crash Bandicoot stuff from Crash Bash up to maybe Twinsanity? Include all the GBA stuff.

3. Golden Sun 1 and 2 re-release.

All good suggestions. I have thought about buying the Golden Sun GBA games, but they are a little pricey. I heard that the DS one wasn't that good though.

TMNT Cowabunga Collection Vol. 3 The sh*tty Ubisoft years (I liked them what can I say )

CDi Zelda Trilogy (Hotel Mario as a bonus)

Game & Watch Collection (Every game in its original form)

Mr. Mosquito 1 & 2 (one of my favorite niche games on the PS2)

Did you ever play Arcade Attack? That game was so freaking bad. It was unbelievably boring and enemies took way too long to kill. I bet if they did make a CDI collection that it wouldn't sell very well. Those games are absolutely terrible in every way. One of my favorite Angry Video Game Nerd episodes introduced me to those games.

The Simpsons gameboy games are pretty fun, except for Bart Vs the Juggernauts. That game is way too difficult. However, Escape From Camp Deadly is in my opinion a great game. I love Bart's Nightmare, but those Indiana Jones levels really brought the game down by being almost impossible to beat.

I’ve never played any of the Gameboy games.

I have Bart’s Nightmare. I think the overall game is quite hard.

I used to have Bart vs World/Space Mutants and Radioactive Man on NES. I don’t think they were very good but I didn’t play much of Radioactive Man. Still in a compilation they’d be worth having.

I forgot there’s also an Itchy and Scratchy game.

I would instantly buy a Retro Simpson's game compilation.

Yeah, it's actually pretty strange that a great Tekken Collection hasn't happened. 1-3 and Tag Tournament at least...

Put me down for a Cowabunga Collection Volume 2. with the Konami 2003-2009 games.

Shinobi, the OG (Arcade and SMS), Revenge, Return, Shadow Dancer Arcade and Megadrive), Alex Kidd in Shinobi World, (can live without Cyber Shinobi), Legions, Shinobi 2002 and Nightshade.
I have most of those on the Megadrive classics collection, but still nice to be one place.

Asterix the Sega years Asterix, Secret Mission, Great Rescue and Power of the Gods. (Love the first Asterix game on the Master System as a Kid. The others go for silly prices on the second-hand market, so there must be some demand.

Spider-Man the Activision games. Specifically, the PS1 and PS2 titles.
