Laird and Eastman not doing one more TMNT comic just seems wrong. The opportunity is sitting right there, they’re clearly getting along great these days, and both still seem capable of at least one issue.

It's not at all clear what Laird is capable of or not capable of at this point. In like 16 years all he's been able (or willing) to do is pull an old drawing out of the drawer from 20+ years ago and it became a cover and penciled one other cover.

Penciling a cover is proof enough for me. They used to pass pages back and forth. If he can do a bit of penciling, or even a cover while collaborating on the writing, I’d be happy.

Anyone know what the latest news on #12 is? I see the second TPB is still scheduled for release at the end of December, but that might not be real at this point.
