Yeah... Mona Lisa also fell victim to the 'character in name only' pretty hard. It's hard to complain because obviously she'll have a much larger role and be in much more than just 'that one episode', but honestly I don't see why many fans of her (who does a one-shot have so many fans to begin with) would be rejoicing. The Mona Lisa they know is still gone. We got alien lizard girl instead. I would have been curious to see the 80's Mona Lisa portrayed in a modern setting.

There are two kinds of Mona Lisa fans:

1. Those who want more female representation & find she fits the mold; she's tough, spunky, etc.

2. Those fetishize her

Why are many fans re-joining? Because it was group 1 that had their voice heard. There will now be a bad-ass girl creature, & best of all she doesn't have an offensively feminized appearance that caters to furries & puts off actual chicks.

So uh... Why was this script so blatantly recycled? There might have been other episodes similar to something else but this is the only one that was nearly identical to an episode from a different show, so why this one?
