This Macklemore/Ed Sheeran thing is just about the stupidest media story I've ever seen. Especially all the lemmings on the left on social media running with things like, "I KNEW there was a reason I never liked Ed Sheeran! Thanks, Macklemore!" and so on.

Islamic Spidey-Sense? What's wrong with you? I wouldn't mock someone as having a Jewish Spidey-Sense, yet you never fail to point out my faith because I guess its okay when its directed at a Muslim?

Alot of the young people reacting to this are quite young. I.e. the Gen Z Free Palestine people who take issue with Macklemore's dismissal. I assumed that your issue with this situation involved your opposition to young leftists' views which are quite different to yours, in part due to the age gap.

I'm amazed and shocked no one has mentioned the re-emergence of Mitch in here. Up to this point he was the only vegetable not to have been recalled in the US, but there he was, being told how to vote. The wheel is spinning but the hamster is most certainly dead.

For all the insults levelled Biden's way towards the end of his term, at least he actually interacted with people and spoke. Mitch has done neither.

Promoter of the tour in response decides to drop Macklemore from the rest of the tour, got to protect the sensitive feelings of all Ed's Jewish fans. All the other support acts choose to stop touring in response. So Ed is left with no support acts for the rest of the US tour.

Anecdotal but a story worth sharing that even made it to German news:

My co-worker was married to a Palestinian in the 1990s. After their divorce, he returned to Gaza and started a new family. They kept in touch because of their two children and she often urged him to move away. Which he didn‘t because he didn‘t want to re-locate with his new family. The guy was not politically active in any way or even religious.

Then in 2014, his house was hit by an Israeli bomb. He and his wife and their five children were immediately killed. All this, long before the current mess.

Their oldest son has become a radical activist who has condoned the 2023 Hamas attacks. Which is terrible but every radicalization has some beginning.
