Good points. These comics have been 10 times better than the movies and cartoon since Joustra took over. So I’ll take it.

The sequel will be all about Shredder, then they’re done unless something crazy happens. So I’m glad they’re polishing the turd a little before they flush.

Well, seeing Keno wasn’t something I expected.

Nor did I expect Mikey to creepily suggest he would like to eat Keno’s ass lol

To be fair, this is an extremely gay and valid version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

In case anyone thinks I’m exaggerating. That’s a borderline sinister face he’s making lmao

Kinda love how SotO reference-heavy Tales has been between Season 2 and now this, haha.

#2 was another fun one. Definitely action packed with some great moments. Raph lost a sai in Armaggon’s tail, Ray Fillet vs. Armaggon was giving me Archie flashbacks, and Joyce’s colors in the nighttime scenes really pop.

I was thinking about how this is basically the only version of Armaggon who isn’t a time traveler, but with how the next arc is Tear in Time, I’m wondering if this bomb he’s building is going to accidentally open a portal on accident or something. We’ll see.

One negative thing I’ll say is so far nothing's been able to make me like MM Splinter. He’s gotta be my least favorite version of the character.

2012 Armaggon wasn't a time traveler. He was a space bounty hunter. (Rise Armaggon was also space-based, being herald to the Triceratons.)

Hey, great point! If you want to count Rise, neither is he. He’s somehow a minion of the Triceratons.

Also just a mutant minion of Krang in Mutants in Manhattan. So there’s some precedence.

With Paramount having canceled the Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, and with the Mutant Mayhem sequel still a ways off, IDW Publishing remains the best and only source for new adventures set in this TMNT universe. Even as the publisher prepares to wrap up their second Tales of the TMNT comic, they're prepping another follow-up dubbed Tales of the TMNT: Tear in Time.

IGN can exclusively reveal a new preview of Tales of the TMNT: Tear in Time. Check out the slideshow gallery below to see cover art for issue #3 and early, uncolored interior artwork from issue #1:

I recommend switching to Brave, the integrated ad-blocker is pretty great on that one. If you are using a Chromium-based browser you don't want to switch from (I still use Chrome for the ease to keep passwords and bookmarks across devices), I recommend installing the Ghostery ad-blocker.
