Democrats talk about gun control, but never actually do anything about it. Trump still has veto power anyways.

And can never really answer how any of the measures they propose would have stopped the incident they're reacting to.

I don't know about you, but there was a time when both sides regardless of who was in power, tried to have some sort of working relationship. Sadly disappeared like 40 years ago.

Dems get the house and senate suck on that Trump

Democrats have captured full control of Congress, NBC News projects, with voters delivering a forceful repudiation of Trump’s agenda, coupled with a clear-cut message that Congress has not done enough to provide checks on his administration and needs to do more to address affordability and corruption.

Democrats’ victory in the Senate comes after a swift and decisive win in the House, where Democrats are set to have what could be its largest majority in nearly two decades.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Not gonna change a thing, the whole process going forward is just gonna be "get Trump" all day every day and no other policy will flourish.

Pass a gun control law and then call it a victory.

Until then...both sides. Don't trust anybody.

The most positive aspect of this is that even though Republicans had more money and people like Musk supporting them, the money did not make a difference.

On the news, they were calling it a blue tsunami. I see two major problems here:
  1. The democrats are still a party without any real direction or vision. I don‘t think they can use this result productively.
  2. This reflects badly on the American public‘s attention span. People knew who they were voting for two years ago. Now we‘ve got headlines about „Rebuking Trump!!!“ but what were those flipped voters doing in 2024? Is what they got, wildly different from what was advertised?

If Republicans nominate a candidate in 2026 who acts like Trump never happened, everything goes back to zero. Overall, I‘m predicting business as usual in the US.

Point 2 is a little unfair. In 2024 Trump was running on the promise of stopping the wars in Gaza and Ukraine. He was running on releasing the Epstein files and locking up pedos. He was running on better cost of living for regular people.

His cabinet and inner circle is also full of Zionists and freaks. It honestly wasn’t that bad in his first term, comparatively.

And let’s be honest, he lost his fastball as far as humor goes. He occasionally has a good zinger but for the most part he just comes off as old and tired. His Twitter back in the day was absolutely legendary. I think the average person is not feeling the weird AI nonsense he posts these days (which is all staffers doing that stuff, he has nothing to do with it but NPCs can’t comprehend that).

Agreed on number 3 but the rest? Did anyone honestly think this guy could end wars? No post-election analysis I've read mentions his diplomatic finesse (lol) as a deciding factor for voters. And he was very likely one of the Epstein pedos himself so...
Anti-migration and DRILL BABY were what it was all about.
