Anti-migration and DRILL BABY were what it was all about.

I mean, he's boys with Putin and historically he has been able to deescalate certain bad situations. He could have cut off Israel if he wanted to and did reach some flimsy cease-fire. Albeit too little, too late.

I kind of thought there might be something to the Epstein files prosecutions since many of those implicated were/are his political enemies. But yeah... I think there was a lot of kayfabe going on there seeing as he looks just as guilty as the rest of them. That pivot has been so embarrassing.

But at the same time, it makes me wonder why the hell Biden's DOJ or FBI didn't do a damn thing with that information. Guess we'll never know.

Yeah, that was pretty annoying. I'm obviously a bit of a tinfoil hat guy myself, but some of these people can't even let a damn plane crash without making it something it's not. Like, somehow you're all of a sudden an aerodynamics expert and an aircraft engineer. Gimme a break.

Those people are the right's analog to basically any irrational hater from the left. It's a true spectrum, however imbalanced.

On another note this congressional rebalancing is hardly the "we got HIM!" victory that frothing at the mouth liberals would have you believe. Again - they'll do anything to dramatize an action on Trump's part or the depth of loss they can put on him.

But at the end of the day if we look at reality this has occurred many times across Presidential history after an extreme period of power-distribution. As for Trump? The maniacs can say whatever they want but the biggest mistake he has made while in office is practically this entire Iranian thing. The guy survived direct assassination attempts, but this Iranian "campaign" is his ongoing downfall across a variety of metrics.

I'd be lying if it wasn't disheartening in a big way, but this IS what happens every time in midterms like this. This in particular was about Iran in large part for the left, independents and the "horseshoe right" (who want to use this as a punishment against Trump for betraying "America First" in their view and then just not voting at all), but it was also about "F*** Israel!" and a lot of people wanting more attention to the cost of living while Trump is venerating daily about things like the reflecting pool and changing the names of monuments and lakes. I understand the latter part.

I do wonder, though, if we've already hit the saturation point where there's finally more life-angry people demanding free stuff than there are hard-working people to create the free stuff for them. Because things start to fall apart pretty fast after that and there isn't really any going back then. I hope not, though. I hope this is just a typical revenge cycle.

Yeah, seriously. Trump’s messaging has been pretty awful these past two years. On top of your examples, there’s the ball room and the juvenile social media content. It just all comes across as unserious.
