Turtle Storage Question....
I have a question that has been with me for some time now. Where is the best place to store action figures both MOC and not? I have some in my garage where it get hot and cold, I have some in my basement with humidity. I have some in my attic where it gets hot and cold, and then some in my closet in my room. I'm sure my closet is the best place but I couldn't possibly fit everything into my room so I have to store them somewhere else. Does anyone have any ideas on proper action figure storage both MOC and not? Thanks.

Well, you seem to already know the answer. So the real question is which environment will you be able to alter the easiest. My suggestion would be to use the basement and simply purchase a dehumidifier. One word of warning, in my experience, you should assume any basement will leak and or flood sooner or later, so you should be prepared for that possibility.

Well, i just keep my MOC figs. and my displayed figs. in my room, so i can Show OFF when my friends reach my home hehe. I think your room is the very best place, if you got space enough. But it seems like you have a lot, So i don't know if they would fit. Well just a suggestion

I store all my stuff in multiple closets and there's a bunch of boxes in my room. The house is always kept at a constant tempeture. Never to hot or cold. I'd never store MOC's anywhere with humidity. That will ruin the cards after a while and the dampness gets inside the bubbles too. Store what you can in your room and the rest, I'd put them in the attic. Package them well and keep them in a dark area. You can also use those packets of beads to help with dampness. Their name escapes me at the moment, but they're always found inside shoes when you buy new ones. They soak up dampness. I placed several inside each of my boxes. A friend of mine had a similar problem. I told him to use those packets, now he doesn't find the dampness inside the bubbles. You can order them in bulk online.

I put all my MOC figures on my wall, using tacks to hold them up. It really looks nice to have them all up there for display. My loose figures I have on random shelves in my room, also looking nice
I have a question.. Should I collect the mutatin' figures loose or MOC. If they werent so expensive I'd do both, but how do you guys have them? |
