Because of how all of the soccer moms of today go "OMG! Violence on TV! Our kids watch that and are now going to grow up into drug addicts!". Parents of today are just too overprotective of their children, trying to keep them in the land of rainbows and bunnies for that little bit longer. It's a shame that because of things like that, you can't really make TMNT dark. Even in Superman they were saying things like "My God", but if that were done today, there would be riots in the streets *sighs*

I guess I am in the minority here, and that is perfectly fine, but I like FF alot. I think its a very cool series.
Not as good as the regular cartoon before it but definately a good one.

Not so small a minority. I agree it's one of the better animated shows still on TV, thought not on par with the original 2k3 series. And how can you all say with a straight face that NT:TNM was better than >>? Yeah NM was meant to be cheesy, but >> isn't exactly supposed to be as dark as it's predecessor either. It was meant to be a lighter more kid friendly alternative to the 2k3 series. Really, which series "Mary Sue" characters are worse? Cody or Venus, Sho'konobo or Dragon Lord? To be honest I can sit through >> but NT:TNM sometimes makes me wanna lobotomize myself. The Turtles not brothers...

I'll be honest, I don't know anything about TNM series. Either I just never heard about it or I totally ignored it but I never saw anything about it.

Judging by most of the comments here I suppose that is a good thing.

Indeed. My first exposer to it was when I was in Italy...and that was just the action figures that were awesome. Then for Christmas mom and dad got me the "East Meets West" VHS from the BX (Base EXchance)...Boy was that bad...

Getting back to FF, one of the things I like about it is the new type of villains they have. I think Viral is way cool, and Sh' okonabo is interesting to say the least. The dark turtle guys dont intrigue me much but still the other two I mentioned keep my interest.

In Superman they showed a guy getting killed and Superman go on a blind rampage nearly killing Supergirl.

Theres no way they could get away with that today withought some retarted overbearing soccer mom whos still breast-feading they're kids at age 10, complaining.

I see your point, but it's basically always been that way. At least we didn't have to deal with all that "Hero Turtle" bullsh*t over here in North America. Banning nunchaku? Ugh...

Eh, at least before you could show at least a trail of blood when you get punched in the fact. Now all you get are these hash marks all over your face -_-;

I don't want blood everywhere, but I think it was a little too obviously lacking in a couple spots in the 2k3 series. Case in point: The Ancient One. Splinter got flippin' slashed across the head with a sword. I at least wanted a little red line, because the complete lack of a visible difference made it confusing until he showed up later with a bandage.

Or in Exodus, where Leo gets run through. It would also have dispelled the confusion of where he was hurt - stomach? or as we found out later, shoulder?

I wonder could we petition to get the TMNT writers/animators back? There’s has to be a way for them to realize that people don’t like FF.

You mean, petition? Somehow I don't think that'd work.

What's your guys problem with Sho'konobo now? I think he's really cool. Reminds me alot of Animus from the Archie series, at least in looks.

He's got a cool agenda as well. Turn the Earth into zombies and his dark TMNT are pretty cool as well.

Yeah I judged FF on the first few episodes too and I hated it, then I watched more and it became eh...now that I've seen them all I can see where he was going with it. It's clearly not displayed the way it was supposed to be.

But seriously you guys whine to much. Whining about it solves nothing, not buying FF crap actually makes things worse, and talking about how it sucks all the time hardly makes anyone who works on it feel good nor does it help get other people into the series.

You guys need to support this, even if you think it's bad. Buy the damn DVD it's 10 dollars for christ sake you can't afford 10 bucks? Buy a figure or two when you get the chance, the toys are decent. Support TMNT though this period and eventually it will get back to what it was. Or atleast bump up the Lost Season.

Whining, bitching, and moaning won't change a thing. What the hell kind of fan abandons something they love because of a down spot? It's not like it's going to stay like this forever you guys know that.

Show a little TMNT spirit.

^ While I understand that logic, I prefer to support the parts of TMNT I like. Movie figures. Movie tickets. If they do come out with a season 1 boxset, I'll probably get it. Lost Season also, whenever the US gets it. There will be support. I just don't want to buy something I won't watch. Since they generally keep track of how much of what DVDs sell, I also think it'd be an inaccurate representation of what I personally want to see. *shrug*

I feel the same. As I said before, I'd rather the series end then Fast Foward continue. It's a spit in the face of everything the 2K3 series established.

I shouldn't have to support a show I can't stand.

I know, but FF is temporary. The Journal proves they DO go back eventually. So to stop supporting the show now means they won't go back. And we won't ever have 2K3 TMNT back now will we? Keep with it and we might have to put up with maybe one more season of FF. But I doubt it. FF was ment to only be 1 season.

I mean have you guys even seen all the episodes? Or did you just watch the annoying and awful Cowboys Of Moo Mesa crossover one?

I've seen about 4 episodes. None impressed me.

And even if they do go back, will the art style, because that contributed to the greatness of the 2K3 series. I can't stand that blocky style.

And if they do go back, will it continue being all stand alone episodes? Also, what will happen to all the character development that FF erased, will that still be in effect or will it magically pop back up.

I don't know the answers, but I do know I should'nt have to suffer through Fast Foward, for the off chance that we get the real TMNT back.

Also, the Journal was all fabricated by Splinter, so it really doesn't count.

'Same here. I'll be damned if I buy Fast Forward figures when those brand-spankin'-new movie figures are sitting there waiting for me.

It took the whole DVD to make me accept the show, atleast for now. Since I know it's not for good I figure I just view them as either really bad episodes*Which every show has* or not very good episodes.

You can hardly judge the show on 4 episodes. And as bad as that art style is it grows on you after a awhile. I hardly like it but I know if the show gets picked up and starts doing better then they might get their budget back and will be able to produce a more expensive series.

And yes Ecto Jedi why buy FF figures when there's movie figures to buy too. Or you could buy both. I get 9.55 an hour and I mange just fine to do so. I'm sure you older members make twice what I make. I make peanuts O_O

I actually, I was being generous with Fast Fowrad. Usually I base my judgement of a show on 3 episodes. That art style, will never grow on me, I don't want it to grow on me, it's terrible.

If you can tolerate FF, then you have reached god-status, but I'd rather send a meesage by not watching Fast Fowardd.
