Casey in the original cartoon

Can anyone tell me what (if any) episodes -- other than "Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero" and "Corporate Raiders from Dimension X" -- that Casey appeared in?

thanks!

Wow, seriously? I thought he'd be in more episodes than that.

No! He also appeared in one of the CBS eps, also in Night of the Rogues, and I think he was also in at least one of the Red Sky eps.

I haven't seen the episodes in a while, but wasn't Casey Jones quite a bit different? Like a lot quieter, almost like a anti-hero version of Jason or something.

I'd compare him more to Dirty Harry.

He never removed his mask,

and all the while he was very crazed and set on the idea of beating the crap out of everyone bad.

I like how the newer shows had him play a bigger role in things,

but I like how the old character was portrayed instead of the newer one.

yeah. Casey Jones appeared in both "NIGHT OF THE ROGUES" and "CYBER-TURTLES". If he was any others, I didn't find them in my quick look through the Molly Bode's guide on the official site. She tells what characters are in each ep, but I didn't have enough time to go through all 192 eps.

^ I don't think he was.

Casey has a 4 episode total count in the old toon, or is there more?

Unfortunately not. He was created for the Archie books (actually for the first all-original issue), then it was years before we ever saw an action figure for him. He was reintroduced to the Archie books for the spin-off, Mighty Mutanimals. And, I think the last thing of note for that character was his inclusion in the Sega Genesis version of Tournament Fighters. Last I heard, he was on trial for the Croc Hunter incident. But, before he could prove his innocence, some psycho killed him, cut of his tail, and left his corpse on the shores of Queensboro. R.I.P. Steve & Man-Ray/Ray Fillet.

That's as much as I can recall.

Ray Fillet was in 'Rebel without a fin', some ep about some scientist turning people (including April) into fish. He was drawn badly and miscast as a villian.

No, sir. That was not supposed to be him. A substitute perhaps, but that character wasn't even one particular sea creature IIRC.

I have a Turtles book with the manta ray in it too. I still have it here. It's quite interesting as these series of storybooks were based off of the original cartoon with Krang and everything. There were even a few books based off of the episodes. I have one for Return of the Shredder and the Incredible Shrinking Turtles as well as the Manta Ray one and another one with a crystal that forms whatever object you drew. That one had a bit of a sad ending for me. I should try to dig them up and put a picture of the covers on here.

I had those books too. The Leo book was based on that Archie comic with Man-Ray, the Donnie book was based on the Mirage Donnie one shot with Kirby, the Raph book was Return of the Shredder, and Mikey's was Incredible Shrinking Turtles which were both episodes and Archie adaptations.

i know what episode you are talking about. i was hoping he'd be in it too, cause the title of the show makes it seem like he would be, but i remember it being a green aquatic monster thing and i don't think it was supposed to represent ray. at least i don't think it was. been a while since i've seen that episode though.

*Shrug* - I always took it as being 'Ray Fillet', they just took a great amount of liberty with the character in the show.

After all each version was different in one way or another. The toy line had Ray Fillet, Archie Comics had Man Ray, and the Classic Toon had Ray.
