TMNT/Toxic Crusaders 1/32 Scale Plastic Figures?

I found these on Ebay the other day, and had to get them just because I've never seen any before. I recognized Merdude on the right and Casey Jones on the left, even though the seller thought they were all Toxic Crusaders...

Anyone seen these or know what the deal is? They look very close to the Playmates toys and since they made TMNT & T.C., I'm hoping there might be a lot more of these around.

Let's see I have no idea what they are they look like some one went and tried to make molds of the figures or something and made those.
My uncle used to own a toy company when I was little and he made cowboys and indians like that.
Ok
Top Row: Casey Jones, Dr. Killemoff, Bonehead
The next row is the same characters just differnt colors.
Then we have merdude.

Yeah I also recognized Killemoff & Bonehead... but I'd kill for Toxie, Junkyard and the rest of the gang. Not too mention the possibility that I might be able to find Shredder, Scratch, who knows? I think these are most likely bootlegs, but I wonder if they might have been put in vending machines overseas or what?

If anyone can find me some more of these or even just different colors, I'd love to trade or buy.

When were these available and what were they? DId they come in those cases of Ooze?

I thought they looked like M.U.S.C.L.E.S and Monster in my Pockets at first, but I looked closely enough at them and I was wrong.

That's exactly what I'd like to know, the guy I bought them from had no idea where they had come from, he had just bought them on Ebay himself. Do you mean those canisters of ooze w/ figure that all the australian sellers on Ebay seem to have? I haven't seen what the figures in those look like yet, but I was under the impression that only figures for the four turtles existed.

There were 2 different figures that came in the original retromutagen ooze canisters. One little turtle figure on all fours with a bandanna and one bigger turtle on 2 legs with his arms stretched open and no bandanna. Then Foot Ooze came out and a mini Splinter Figure wearing a bandanna above his eyes was included with it as well as the turtles. The turtle figures that came in the original green Ooze glow in the dark. The turtle figures that came in the Foot Ooze were dyed purple from the color in the ooze. Splinter was painted browish red. So no, these didn't come from any ooze canisters. Their really cool though I especially like Merdude, great find there!

Actully your incorect about a few things.
The Splinter that came out in the ooz was released in both the green and purple ooz & he wasn't painted brown the single plastic he was made up was that color.
Also the second turtle that came out that stood on it's hind legs we green.
I know because I have them both here they are 2 of the toughest to find and 2 of my faves.

Did not know that the Splinter was available in the green ooze! That's Cool! If you open a can of Foot Ooze now and get that "second turtle" out he is purple. As is the first turtle i'm sure. The dye in the Foot "Ooze" colors them and renders them purple forever. The green Ooze does not. They maintain their whitish green color. I know this because I bought 2 factory sealed cases not too long ago (complete with store display units!) and opened some cans from one case. This was probably about a year ago. I never got a Splinter from the green Retromutagen ooze though but I admit I mainly opened Foot ooze as it's shorter packed in the cases. I primarily got that "second turtle" everytime so I assumed Splinter was the toughest as I only got one of him. I'm not sure how long your Ooze sat unopened but the Foot ooze does color the mini figs if your just opening them now. Years of sitting in that purple gunk messes them up. I also remember that the Ooze came out in 2 different "waves" with the cases containing just the green Retromutagen Ooze being first. I wonder if Splinter was in those original Retromutagen cases too or added to the green Ooze after the "Foot Ooze" Green Ooze combination cases were released. By the way it's really great talking to a fellow TMNT collector. Thanks!

Nope, the Ooze maintains it's gelatinous <sp?> state. It's really cool that after all of these years it does. Anyone wanting the mini figures now should only buy the green ooze for the turtle figures. Splinter is fine though, the purple dye does not affect him. I actually also bought a case of "Toxie's Toxic Waste" too even though it doesn't include any mini figures I think it's a neat companion to my TMNT Ooze.

Actully Toxi's ooz came with stuff as well but it's been so long I think it came with a glow in the dark version of his little buddy.

Nope, Toxie's little buddy came inside the package with toxie in a little bag. I've opened cans of Toxie's Toxic Waste... nothing but the "Waste". I also have the Toxie figure.

How odd I could have sworn it came with something.
But hey that was years ago I can't remember everything lol especially for a line outside of tmnt.

lol It's understandable, though I was very dissapointed myself when we didn't see a series 2 of Toxic Crusaders. Yvonne with accordian woulda been a great figure to have to give April a run for her money And Toxie's mom woulda rocked!
