So, for the eps that had the edited intro, it was a way to free up additional commercial time since they went even further over th run-time limit. For them to replace it with the full intro for release on DVD just because commercials are no longer an issue would be historically inaccurate and rather pointless. At least we're getting the full episodes though.
wanna bet allot of them infact have the wrong intros because I have them all on tape from when I taped them fof tv when they first aired.
Many of the fox after noon episodes have the cbs satermorning episodes intros and they should not have them.

I have them all on tape myself and nothing had the wrong intro. Yes the episodes are horribly out of order but that's because they're following the Molly Bode guide. They're using this guide because it's on the official site and they probably figure we want it that way.

Molly Bode worked at Mirage for a while, I remember Dan posting a tribute to her on the official site when she quit. This was back waaaay before the 2k3 series even started.

I sure must have a screwed up dvd set then because episodes like farewell lotus blossum should not have the saterday morning opening them animation it should have the fox weekday afternoon them intro.
There are some others also and it botherd me it's not a big deal really and ugh for the love of dont make go through the entire box set again lol.

Season 4 is way out of oder, another big hint on the DVD is The Big Zipp Attack is before The Dimension X Story, it's suppose to be The Dimension X Story the volcano erupts surrounding the lower part of the Technodrome then The Big Zipp Attack Krang tries to move the Technodrome but the lower tracks are stuck in the lava.

To get 18 episodes they would have to talke away The Turtles and the Hare 1, Once Upon a Time Machine 2 and Planet of the Turtleoids .

Dose this mean those episodes and ganna be left out?

p.s. I know The Turtles and the Hare 1 was the last episode of the Season 4 DVD but it's also the first episode of Season 5.

Funny, I have a CBS recording of Farewell, Lotus Blossum. Also, Son of Return of the Fly was also after The Dimenson X Story. Krang mentions that the computers haven't worked properly since the Volcano errupted which is what happend at the end of that episode. Even though they have the syndicated intro, I think the beginning episodes of season 4 chronilogically came right before season 5 since they had the portal working and they weren't restrained by the lava. Most likely order I can think of is Plan Six from Outer Space, The Dimension X Story, then Son of Return of the Fly since they get the portal working again in that episode.

The Big Zipp Attack is before a lot of the episodes too mostly based on the very little detail of the sewer cover that they show sometimes that was chewed up by a zipp but they show it in at least 2 other episodes (the missing manhole cover and teeth marks).

Sorry, man. DK is right. If you saw them on a weekday, someone aired programs they weren't supposed to and could have gotten in legal trouble for. All I can add is that I clearly remember seeing them on CBS and nowhere else. Of course, my 'syndicated' provider was NBC, not Fox. So, who knows?

Dude fox 53 here in pittsburgh,p.a. where I friggin grew up played the episodes weekly every single day.
They where originally aired on a weekday block of cartoons they even had a retarded slogan commercial.
They had turtles, muppet babies, ducktales, tale spin, darkwing duck.
And great thanks now I have the horrid jingle they sang in my head now.
I'm telling you the place the turtles first aired Fox and still air today played those episodes first without the CBS theme song change.
What we have on the new dvds are the reruns.
As you can see with the versions they used of the cut themes for some episodes as well those episodes didn't first air like that.
And btw I would run home from school just to catch the episodes every single day on fox.
My mother would scream at me because I would watch turtles and the other shows before I'd do my homework.
I know allot about this crap because I actually have it all here in front of me.
I don't run around the Drome-Syndrom and spred lies about stuff what would be the point? jeez oh man oh man oh geez

I had at least 6 or 7 Darkwing Duck figures & I definitely had them crossover with my TMNT figures, Ghostbuster figures, She-Ra figures, & my He-man figures Let me tell you, my Castle Greyskull & Chrystal Castle were the most happening castles ever!!

I really hope there was an error regarding the number of eps for season 5. I would hate for any of them to get left out

I hope that it is just a screw up on how many episodes are on the box set, because I'm dying to see the Turtleoids two parter. It is just awsome.

If they want to shaft an episode I wouldn't mind if they shafted Michaelangelo the Sacred Turtle on it. I absolutly hate this episode

Even if some episodes were worse than others, NO episode should be skipped on this boxset. I want the complete collection of all the original series episodes, and hopefully we'll get that as the sets go on.

At the worst, the last three Season 5 episodes will be put on the Season 6 boxset. They just better not ignore them entirely, because I want all the eps on DVD.

Right. If not on the Season 5 Set, they would likely be put on the Season 6 Set.
As we've already had a similar thing with "Plan 6 From Outer Space" getting doubled-up (being on Vol. 6 and Season 4), and "Turtles and the Hare" put on the Season 4 Set (and probably get doubled-up come the Season 5 Set).
