Something overlooked in Fast Forward...

Um..... if Fast Forward is only 100 years in the future.... then where are the Turtles of THAT timeline? Surely they can live over 115... Most other forms of turtle media have them living way over 100, so did they just forget or they didn't want 8 turtles running around all at once (12 if you count the Dark Turtles). They musta moved out of New York if Cody and President Bishop didn't know they were still around. What do you think of this? whoops??

I think that in the cartoon series they die younger then they do in other mediums. I honestly assume their dead by then because if they weren't then Cody would most certainly met them already.

Cody would have definitely said something if the Turtles was still alive in his timeline, so either they have shorter lifespans in this universe....or the TMNT meet some horrible end at some point to a villain in the past.

Just because someone has the ability to live 100 years doesn't make it so. 3 of my high school classmates passed away before graduating, RIP. There could be any number of explantations. Of course, FF is also rediculous so it may be as easy as "just because."

Im sticking with my theory that the TMNT are still alive in 2105, they're just hiding.

The Future Turtles already went thru all the stuff that the present turtles are going thru right now so helping their younger selves won't do em any good.

But they're probably, secretly, helping them along the way (I don't think Cody built the time portal by himself).

Well, Cody already stated at the end of "The Journal" that he knows how their story ends, and the Turtles are going to love it. So, being the only trustworthy part of that episode, that suggests to me that they go out in a blaze of glory, saving lives I'd imagine.

No, he was saying more along the lines that they soon made it home to the present.

I change my mind to this. This makes a lot of sense ^. They know everything works out good and they probably don't want to mess with what they have already accomplished.

Maybe the future Turtles experienced a "Fast Rewind," which took them back to medieval Japan where they became mythical legends.

So you suggest that Cody's met them before. If that's the case then why would he act so surprised to see them? Darius would most certainly know who they were already as well cause he uses Serling to spy on Cody and Cody never leaves the house really*And the Time Portal was built at his house not O'Neil Tech*

I am 99% sure they are dead. Them being alive would have been mentioned already if it were true. But tthere is the chance that the writers planned for them to appear in ff season 2 so who knows.

I'm going with the theory that they're alive. Just the act of them enountering their younger selves would result in two possibilities. One, coming face to face with themselves 100 years older would put them into shock and they would simply pass out. Or two, the encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could start a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to our own galaxy.

I think they are dead. It doesn't make sense though, that is if they lived into old age.

What if Bishop killed them? Nah.....

Why, thank you for that thorough and revelation-filled explanation, Doc.

But, seriously, they appear to be taking the predestined approach to time in this series. I have a good reason to believe that, but it escapes me at the moment. Anyway, their version of time is one based on intelligent design (ala Lord Simultaneous, Renet, Laird and his crew).

Someone's gonna kill me for saying this, but that is one HELL of a good idea for the next series.

Besides, maybe they also thought they would only live to be as old as normal humans.

That is a good idea, but I think it would do better as a shorter saga, like "The Big Brawl" was....
