Reminds me of Archie for some reason, whoever is doing this issue needs to do the Forever War if Berger can't. Unless Chris Allan does it!

Chris Allan is drawing The Forever War. Dan never drew any of the Archie comics.

I know he didn't but I love his art style and I could see it adapted to Archie nicely.

But I'm glad Allan is doing Forever War it's only right.

Yes.

Though in a post-Volume 4 world with Utroms and such running around, there's no good reason that Raphael couldn't have his eye replaced with a cloned eye via Utrom tech or the latest stem cell treatments of the next century or so. But... it's very much in character for Raphael to tell such treatments to go F themselves, and slap an eyepatch on and keep it groovin'.

Oh yeah, a major plot detail at comicon is Raph gets a one-issue eye infection. That'll boost sales.

Lesse Raphael looses an eye in the following things:

1: Mirage's Michelangelo Christmas Special had a secondary story in which Raphael is visited Scrooge style by the ghosts of christmas past, present, and future....the ghost of Christmas future showed him a future in which he's in a swamp with just 1 eye (in the Archie series he has a nightmare about said swamp....)

2: The Image series - Raphael looses half his face in an explosion and he becomes the new Shredder. So a whole series with Raph and a missing eye

3: The Archie series...again an explosion is the culprit (and Armaggen the eeeevil mutant shark) for Raph's missing eye

4: Same As It Never Was - Raph's missing an eye!

And it's always his left eye too.
