In the TMNT's games like TMNT Tournament Fighters and Mutant Melee and things, how is it that the turtles have their powers mostly in their video games where Mikey is shooting fire balls out of his mouth and flying in the air with his nunchukus and others doing their moves as well but they can't do them in their shows? It's not a big deal or anything, it's just something that was always stuck in my mind that I just had to make a thread for it. What do you guys think?
Back in the early 1990's, many versus fighting games were inspired by "Street Fighter II", launched in 1991. In that game, many characters could send away fire balls. Many fighting games were released the following years, one of them was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. So it was probably just a try to copy Street Fighter II themes and hoping it would be the same success.
