Cool thread. Anyway, for those who didn't read the TMNT Volume 4 comics, "Rooish" is the pet name that Shadow (April and Casey's adopted daughter) gave to Michelangelo. It comes from Peter Laird's daughter's cat's name, I think? The cat was originally named Mikey, which became Mikeroo, then Roo, then Rooish, if I remember correctly. And PL decided that this would be a cute nickname for Michelangelo.

Of course, I am female, so it's probably a little confusing.

Mine all has to do with a drunk guy I met on XBL way back when Rainbow Six 3 came out. My original XBOX tag was PeeJtmnt (PeeJ an akward way of spelling PJ, the nickname I've had since I was born, and tmnt...obvious). While playing RS3, some drunken fool on my team, unable to read my name properly, keeps calling me Peanut. Which was good, because I had been wanting to change my XBLtag, but couldn't think of anything else to use. That name kind of stuck, as my cousin (JameO) started using it IRL, which caught on to other friends and pretty much became my nickname all over the place. After a lot of deliberation, I finally changed my user name on here from Michaelangelo to Peanut.

So, yeah. My username means I routinely allow drunk people to decide things for me.

I was called by my username throughout middle and high school. In a 4 year period (high school), I took 6 years worth of science credits. I also conducted my own scientific research in high school...so the nickname suited me perfectly.

I don't think I'd be allowed to use any of the names I was called in High School as a username here (except maybe "psycho ninja freak").

God forbid that somebody ever gets drunk again and starts calling you 'Penis'.

"Peanuts?"
"Why, yes, I have one right here. It's bulky but I consider it carry-on."

I call myself "Marty McFly" because I am a Back to the Future fan and I like a lot of 80s stuff.

My username was chosen after I talked to my friend Dennis. We were talking about stuff we liked, and I told him I liked The Powerpuff Girls. (Don't laugh.) He knew my favorite character was Bubbles, so he started calling me BubbleShell, because my nickname is Shell. So, I decided to change it to BubblyShell instead. Bubbly symbolizes my love for PPG and the fact that I'm a bubbly person. Shell relates to my love of TMNT and my nickname (short for Michelle, my real name). 22 relates to the fact that I was born on February second at 2:22 P.M. Pretty weird, huh?

Whoa. Related to anyone named Harvey who lives in a gothic city and has a horrible facial disfigurement?

So did I. No, I'm not related to Two-Face from Batman. I'm not a Batman fan, but my brother used to watch the cartoon and I did see Batman Forever once.

Wanda is originally a slavonic name meaning wanderer.

It's the name of my very first own character in TMNT fanfic I've written. It's like 8 years ago or something I've made "Wanda". Still haven't forgotten.
