Theatrical Trailer for TMNT 1

I just watched it again today, and I have to say: this **** is awful. It's shocking to see a movie that is so good have such an ass trailer. Parents must have been scared shitless when they saw this, knowing theire kids were gonna be seeing it either way. It is fun to watch tho, since I can laugh at it, if you haven't seen it go find it on youtube.

Most good movies have bad trailers.

Example

Looks like a horrid Terminator rip off*The music doesn't help*, when in reality it's an awesome movie.

It's actually about standard fare for movies from this time. Trailers were not the art form back then that they can be today. Most of my favorite movies from the 70s or 80s have crap trailers.

Well said. That is the 80s for you. Greatest movies, worst trailers.

Heh, I don't think it's that bad. The worst part is that they're not using the voices of the voice actors and so they sound unenthusiastic for the most part, especially Mikey at the end of the trailer.

Oh wow, the music at the end there totally does sound like the Terminator theme!

Robocop gave me nightmares as a kid because of guy that falls in the vat of drugs and melts. Ugh, that scarred me big time.

But yeah, those trailers aren't anything like we have today. It's like they've gotten more desperate to attract people to the movies or something.

Supposedly, its an unused part of the film score.

I actually like the trailer for this film.

QFT. I love this trailer, I make sure to watch it every time I watch the movie, which is pretty often. The song that plays is great.
