I don't think I'll like the archie comics either, but a lot of fans have been saying very good things about the archie comics, so maybe I'll try it out...
Dreamwave turtles wasn't cancelled. The company went bankrupt because the owners were imbezzeling money and refusing to pay artists and writters. Same thing happened to the Awsome Transformers: The war within comic, though that lasted a bit longer, as it was a series of 3 miniseries, the third of which was never completed because of the incident.

on that note, it was decent. As was Image Turtles, if your willing to deal with weird crap that might offend.

Isn't that true of pretty much any incarnation of Turtles, irrespective?

The DMC comic series never got finished either...and weird crap? Uh yeah Image is way better then the DW series. The DW series is easily the worst turtles comic ever

I'm not entirely sure I agree there, especially if we're going issue by issue.

ANyway.

I wasn't calling image bad, I was calling it WEIRD. Crap was just a pronoun.

Don't let any of the Volume 3 haters get to ya. It is the best volume, after (sortof) Volume 1. The first twenty and the last twenty issues of Volume 1 were all good, but the middle twenty had a buncha crazy crap that is noncanon and noncontinuity.

Volume 2 is okay, but it's not much to rave about--especially as it only lasted 13 issues.

Volume 4 is also okay, but it's more relaxed, laidback, and slower-progressing.

Volumes 1 and 3 are fast, dark, gritty, and explosive--which is why I say the odd volumes are best.
