Neca TMNT Figures Now W/ Foot Soldier Prototype & Mouser Information - Page 6

jestergoblin · 11-28-2007, 10:26 AM

These are going to be awesome. So glad Pete vetoed those colors. I want these suckers to be gritty.

Janus Prospero · 11-28-2007, 10:55 AM

Agreed. The base looks good, but the colors are way too cartoony for my taste.

Although it does make me wonder why they went for a sidewalk over a rooftop. To me a rooftop is quintessential TMNT.

*Kendamu* · 11-28-2007, 11:02 AM

Maybe there'll be more than one base?

~~AquaParade~~ · 11-28-2007, 12:15 PM

Hopefully there will be more then one base. Although, that one looks pretty good colors aside. I can't say I've ever wanted an action figure more.

*Drtooth* · 11-28-2007, 02:09 PM

GAAAHHH I wish I had some better drawing program than paint. I'd color key the heck out of that one. Seems like if it wasn't so bright (A little dulled down) it would work a bit better...

*Masked Ninja* · 11-28-2007, 03:32 PM

Like so?

I love the way the linework is on this thing, though... feels like a comic page brought into three dimensions. Just make the colors a little darker/duller, and we're set.

*Kendamu* · 11-28-2007, 03:45 PM

Wow. Why aren't you working for NECA?

*BigApple3AM* · 11-28-2007, 06:27 PM

There's a picture of the NECA TMNT in previews magazine. I was told by my friend who is a manager at a comic store. I won't be able to get my hands on one until Saturday. If someone else can get photos hop to it! I gotta see these!

~~AquaParade~~ · 11-28-2007, 10:37 PM

Someone please pick this up

duhril · 11-28-2007, 11:25 PM

Here it is. Isn't it awesome, my heart jumped when I turned the page and saw it.

*Roseangelo* · 11-28-2007, 11:31 PM

Fantastic!

Any chance of a bigger scan? Is Leo the only one pictured?

METALHEAD · 11-29-2007, 12:07 AM

*gasps and starts coughing* holy crap thats awesome!!!

*Kendamu* · 11-29-2007, 12:36 AM

I need to find this magazine and make some super-sized scan of it!

Anyone know if this is sold at Barnes & Noble, Walden Books, or Books-a-Million?

*VaughnMichael* · 11-29-2007, 12:44 AM

that is seriously amazing!

JaffleMan · 11-29-2007, 01:14 AM

..... ....... ..........

*speechless*

*Masked Ninja* · 11-29-2007, 01:58 AM

Hoho, nice. And I'm sure the photographed page doesn't even do it justice.

Miyamoto_Usagi · 11-29-2007, 06:12 AM

That is awesome. I have been waiting to see what it would like. I have been wanting to see a TMNT figure that good since I was kid. I had plans to do a custom of that very figure but now that NECA has done it there is no need.

Slash · 11-29-2007, 07:59 AM

It's almost as good as the statues that Playmates produced that proved that Playmates COULD make a good sculpt.

Maybe they did a sidewalk like the first double page in Mirage #1.

I wonder why Murphy hasn't posted that pic yet...
