Exclamation 2nd Next Mutation DVD set, released Feb 11th in the UK

http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/34764...2/Product.html

I've been after the rest of Next Mutation for a while. I think this is a UK exclusive again. Play.com has it for re-order at only 8 pounds . BARGAIN!

The Next Mutation follows the day-to-day adventures of Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello, four turtles who became mutants with extraordinary abilities after being dropped into a pool of toxic sludge as infants. Now almost 18 years old, they have emerged as full-grown Ninjas, about to face a new enemy and discover a fifth Mutant Turtle - a mysterious female nicknamed Venus De Milo...

This 3 disc set is the second and final volume of The Next Mutation series. 15 Episodes.

No wonder that eBay seller hasn't sent me my product yet... The jerk wouldn't even dignify my emails with a response.

P.S. - For Amazon UK customers...

Exclamation

I think the East Meets West stuff was but not the rest of the first 11 that have been released UKside so far.

I wonder why Michaelangelo is just on the cover of volume 2. Perhaps the 3 disc cases have the others bar Venus individually pictured.

I had the same thing happen.

No TNM DVDs were released in the US. A VHS with the first 5 episodes cut down is the only thing that's been released (and that's long out of print).

Who was the production agency? Saban. Who owns Saban? Disney. If they don't think that releasing Spiderman et al in partnership with Marvel (in a move mimicking the Fox/Warners fight with 1960's Batman) during Spiderman 3, what makes anyone think they'll dust off something they unrightfully own because they might be catching up to a rebirth that could only be slightly profitable?

Shell! If it wasn't for enough fan badgering, we would have never seen the Tick cartoons.

Sorry to hear that Rose. I hope the auction I posted is more useful, at least the seller requests to allow up to 28 days for delivery.

I'd assume that's the same eBay store we both ordered it from. That's where I ordered it. All we have to do is wait 'til the new release date before freaking out. It would have been nice if the joik had let us know it was delayed though. And, now that I'm thinking of it, I'll send the seller a friendly suggestion to let everyone who's been waiting on orders know.

EDIT: Thought I had clicked on it yesternight. That's actually not the same eBay store. So, I goofed again. Yay for being human!

retrowarez.au... I just tried signing in, and it won't let me. So, I had to dig through my e-mails. It was dated Nov 15. People will be ready to torch that seller when their DVDs come in.

Did you file a PayPal claim? If not, that's the thing to do.

Talking

I wonder if the shows will be the UK 'Hero' Turtle edits like the last DVD set. I felt like the last bunch of episodes were edited in places. I hope these upcoming DVD eps are untampered with anyway.

Thumbs up I got my TMNT: NM Volume 2 today!!!!!

I got my Next Mutation Volume 2- 3 dvd set from amazon.co.uk.

It is nice to finally have all of these episodes! I never saw the latter half of these shows, so I don't know if they are edited or not. But what is interesting, is on Episode 17, Enemy of my Enemy where the turtles find Shredder as a homeless man, the scars on his face are fully visible. whereas they were edited out during the East Meets West Episode where the Foot got defeated on the Volume 1 UK dvd's. FYI, the opening and end titles are still "Hero Turtles".

NM is sure a hokey show, but I have to admit I've enjoyed finally seeing these and it's nice to finally have them all. Although nowhere near the quality of the Henson suits or the live action films, there's something I really like about seeing our green heroes with humans in latex suits. Guess it's cause I grew up loving the live action films, especially the first one.

If anyone wants these dvd's I would recommend ordering them soon, the Volume 1 is sold out at Amazon UK apart from a few independent sellers having them used. Maximum Entertainment for some reason doesn't appear to re-press these dvd's very often.

Now that I've bought and watched both volumes, I'm looking to sell. Anyone interested?

Until/unless someone makes me an acceptable offer for just one of the two sets.
