TMNT: The Next Mutation Question

I was wondering if any of you knew where I might be able to find a copy of this show. It wasn't one of my favs but I'm trying to get all the series. I am in NA so R1.

And is Venus their sister?

There aren't any DVD releases in North America, but there's an edited movie-version of the series opening story arc on VHS. I'm sure you can find it on eBay.

Venus was the figurative sister, but they came up with the idea of saying they weren't blood-relatives (because they all came from different pet shops or something) just so it would be okay for the guys to check her out when she showed up.

Is there any reason the Next Mutation DVDs aren't released in the U.S.? Are there any rights blocking their distribution or something?

Or maybe they fear backlash from Laird because Venus will be put back on the American market? :p

I think the only blocker may be Laird himself, he's out there with a neon orange construction worker outfit stopping any trucks that try to bring Next Mutation dvd's to the states.
I saw it with my own 3 eyes.

I think that's a very likely scenario. If/when Saban/Jetix decides to get around to Power Rangers In Space for DVD release, it'll stand to reason... Because I honestly don't know but I doubt if Laird can stop it from being released.

I believe only Shredder and the Foot Soldiers are the only villians from the original series.

I actually have said VHS tape with the first 3 episodes as a movie. Why I keep it is beyond me. ^_^;

I just want to see the episode that had Scott McNeil in it.

Maybe Laird will redo the NM episodes, and where Venus is supposed to be, Jim Lawson has just drawn her in...
