Whatever conflict there is, whether it's real or just perceived, I would chalk up to a lack of direct communication. Blogging is a definite step in the right direction to close that gap. Murphy's blog has been a GINORMOUS positive step in terms of fan relations, so hopefully Peter's just adds to that.
