Splinter from first movie and 2nd movie. Didn't seem quite right in the 3rd, and I hated his voice in TMNT 4.

I'm gonna have to go with the live action movie Splinter, especially the first & second. What did it for me in the first film was Splinter's opening sequence when the turtles come back from their first battle. John Du Prez's ninjitsu score emphasized the look and sound of the scene. For the second flick, hmmm, Splinter's other opening part as well, and when he was on the roof w/ April & the turtles talking about the how the ooze affected them. I don't why, but Splinter has such a awesome way with words in the original movies.

That rat was the epitome of Eastern wisdom. On top of that, I like how there was a balance between caretaker and master. He wasn't overly harsh because he really did love the Turtles like his sons, but did "spare the rod" when it came time, so to speak ("Ten flips! Now!") Never judge a rat by his fur, either. He appeared old, and very wanting of energy. Guess who defeated the Shredder? That frail rat who you wouldn't think from looking at him could defeat a child with only a white belt. |

yes he did, but I felt that CGI Splinter was pretty damn awsome too with Mako voicing him. He was exellent.
