More Mini-Mutants Out 08/09/08

Looking over ebay this morning these items came up in the search for new TMNT.

Was in this auction
He listed this as well but it's now gone.

So I'm guessing if you guys haven't seen these in stores yet you will soon.
The only thing I see that I don't like is that 4 arm Clone Shredder is simply called Shredder

I bought the Mike and Don playsets a week ago. I'm glad they finally came out because I was worried that Playmates would forget about them like some of the other toys.

Also, its the only way to get Mini Foot Soldier and Mini Bigfoot at this point, I don't think those two are obtainable in 2 packs

Thanks Vaughn I have been waiting to hear something about these
I have been wanting the Mike and Don sets. I will have to go to Target again now that I see they are surfacing.
Did you get them from a store or Ebay Cybercubed?

Sure thing
I have yet to see them in our area the only new things poping up in stores in the PA area seem to be those new movie Mech Wreckers and the Sub Sewer TMNT but sadly not the 2 mutants (of course the only things I want).

I live in New York and I bought the Mike and Don mini-playsets in Target.

I haven't seen the new 2-packs over here though, and we only have the Sub Sewer Turtles but not the monsters.

Did anyone find the mole mutant or that other creature from the Sub Sewer line? I hope they aren't UK exclusive again.

I personally have yet to see any of the Sub-Sewer line, and neither Metal Klawz nor Spyder Bytez have shown up on eBay to my knowledge (the Turtles have, however). I, too, am curious to see if anyone has seen the mutants from this line.

I think that the fact we actually have new villains in this assortment is the only thing truely interresting. I hate the clumsily added in X-Sports... but Jammerhead's part of this assortment, right? I just hope they keep bringing in more great villains to round these out. I thought the Paleo Patrol's line up had the saving grace of the pack in Dinos and Bugs, but I doubt I'd get the ones with the bugs (I hate toy bugs, myself)

Some more just came up on Ebay today so these things have to be out in stores.

Auction can be seen here

Auction can be seen here
I really like that Baxter figure, I'll be buying that one for sure!
Once again these are not my auctions, nor would I pay such crazy prices for figures that have just come out to stores.

I saw these auctions a few minutes ago while browsing eBay, and rhetorically asked my co-worker why they were approximately double the in-store price....

Because people on ebay these days think that new toys that just hit the shelves ='s worth more.
I just don't get it really when like almost none of the old tmnt toys are worth anything, but people can sell the new ones for 14.99 when they cost 5.00 in the stores if that.

Man, I really love that one. The roller blades on all these dudes are removable, right? Not so much that I don't like them, as much as they'll be impossible to stand up and display with them.

Thanks for the heads up and review, quick question though, if I removed the extra hands and painted the Shredder could I be close enough to the third mini clone? I have yet to buy a mini mutant, but will if I could fit him into my regular sized collection with some customizing. I was thinking when I first saw him that taking my extra 4 armed clone's head and putting it on this body it might work. If you have any thoughts on this it would be much appreciated (I'm on a custom kick). Thanks!

Sure thing, and you know maybe but it would look sort of odd next to the regular line of figures.

These should be hitting Target soon. They were at both of the ones I checked This weekend... and we're usually the last ones to get them, as we're on the East Coast...

Where are you at Tooth? Our Targets in Pittsburgh take forever to stock their shelves.

I'm on the West Coast, and the immediate surrounding stores are always slow to get the newest figures. The only exception was Fast Forward wave 1, which showed up at the local Toys R' Us about two to three weeks before anyone else I know of claimed to have them.

How much are these mini-figs costing? Normal price that is, not jacked-up ebay prices...
