Display Cases for TMNT MOC

Hello. I'm kind of a newbie in these forums but really enjoy coming here for all the info available for my tmnt collection.

I will soon be acquiring the four original teenage mutant ninja turtles moc and I want to put a display box on them. Ive done some research online and found that this website www.wholesalecases.com carries various display boxes. My question is which one would fit the tmnt moc toys?? Any one here keep theyre toys in display boxes such as these http://www.wholesalecases.com/star-wars-supplies.html ???

Hi, I have about 60 MOMC vintage TMNT from 88-93
and all of them fit in the Star Trek Playmates cases, even the boxed mutatin mutations fit, tight, but well.
I just wished they did some for the vehicles, mine are starting to get too dusty too frequently.

oh, and the only figures so far that I have had that do not fit are the wacky action figures (wind ups) the card was a little larger.

I got the four MOC turtles and built a plexi glass case for all of them to fit in at the same time, its pretty cool.

Hey spazzy, can we get some pics of those figs in the star trek cases? I want to see the fit before I start buying any. Thanks!

sure, I will get it for you in a few hours.

Most fit well, some have a little tightness like the larger figures. But they look great displayed this way.

SWEET CASE! I should be less lazy and more handy, then maybe my figures wouldn't be stuck in the closet or collecting dust on an exposed shelf.

Thanks man! The back is also see through and the pieces that hold them in place are as well so they float completely in the space.

yeah, it would be convenient, as they charge shipping and tax which can end up being $20-$30 (depending on how many you order, and where you are located) just for those...and you have to wait. But still they look great, much better than if they were in a storage box where I can never see them because I would be afraid of all the dust.

No problem, glad I could help!

I'm also kinda looking for cases for the vehicles/playsets, without spending the money at afa to get them graded. let me know if you find anything.

You can buy custom cases from the AFA without them grading them. It makes them quite a bit cheaper.

Sweet! they are definitely still cheaper than getting it graded, and yes still pricey though. $68 to fit the Mutant Module, I wonder how much for the Technodrome? I don't have it out so I can't measure it. I will definitely do this down the road, and probably my g i joes as well!
Exciting!

Having had my NYCC NECA set graded, I CAN speak for the quality of the cases. They are EXTREMELY nice, especially if you get the Museum grade plexi. Heres a couple pics:

(BTW, for anyone every getting anything graded. Please be aware that the AFA considers signatures as flaws. Bear that in mind when having them graded. This is the reason that this piece recieved a 70. Both the window and the box have a signature on it)

very nice, I have had regular figures graded before, so I know they are nice cases and worth the $$, I just need to save up for them. I have most of my $$ tied up in other pre orders...so much good stuff has and is coming out this year .

It used to be that way with comics, signatures were flawed, I had a Daredevil 181 ( I think) where bullseye kills Elektra, near mint, should have received a 9.6 at least, BUT because of a signature on the inside splash page by Frank Miller it was graded a 8.0. A year or so later they introduced the signature grading....bastards...

I would think afa will catch on sooner or later with a signature tier, maybe then you can resend it and get it regraded?

So what site do you order them from? Is there a specific name/type of case this is or are they just called "Protech Star Trek cases"?
