I think these are from conventions, I have been looking at other people costume to get ideas for my own.

It is easy to tell that at least the second photo was taken at a convention, due to the Comic-Con badge clipped to Leo, and the general background. The first one I'm not 100% sure on, but it is possible.

There are slits underneath the eyes, like how the movie costumes worked. Whether or not they actually allow you to see is highly debatable. All I know is that when it counted, I didn't fall off the front edge of the masquerade stage.

Okay, I gotta say that all those costumes are pretty damn badass. I myself would totally love to make and wear a costume that looked just as good. I'd go to each and every school in the city and kick the candy out of their bullies and be worshipped by the kiddies.
