I have yet to see this video, but it all just confirms from the reviews that Peter may still have the creative talent to bring about good animated properties.... But as far as business goes, he and gary need to not only get with the times, but also hire someone who actually gives a shoot...
I agree. I'm not harboring as much Teenage Mutant Ninja Anger as say, Rose seems to be, because I've really enjoyed the creative offerings while Laird's been in charge. What's absolutely infuriating however, is how terrible at promotion and management Laird and Richardson seem to be.

Since the Turtles came back in 2002:
Creative direction - Good
Management - Abysmal, and the proof is in the pudding.

While I have my miffs with certain creative directions, the main focus of my frustration is...

Exactly that (well, that would be the short version). And as I don't believe there can be any hope creatively as long as management remains unchanged, I really can't support any part of it.

Wow, Splinter really let himself go...

Hm... I couldn't play the video on the site (even though I KNOW my Quicktime works), so I went onto youtube and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8Frw0tFVWI

If this is that exact video... I TOTALLY like it - as a fan film.

If this is an official pitch... I'd fire the people. Hell, my senior film about a frog running for president looked better than this....

So, you just want company in being crabby? Sorry, but life's too short to hold onto bitterness. If you were suggesting something more proactive, I might be game. But, keep in mind that I don't believe in violence.

if it were a fan film it's cute but THIS PIECE OF CRAP IS A PITCH!?

It's the most unprofessional piece of garbage ever. And yes I could probably make a better one using my laptop's camera!

Hye Archon...go reload the youtube page

No, but the persistent butt kissing is more hurtful than helpful in the big picture.

That's just the thing. There's nothing proactive that can be suggested. I've questioned many minds on this topic, and they're all unanimous in saying any effort is futile.

And for the record, I hold no bitterness. I am at the point where I find this all just extremely humorous and amusing.

Um... everyone's bitching about a Road Trip? I expected one. In fact, I would have been surprised if there wasn't one. Sure, it's nothing I'm interested in, but it just seems like the thing to do.

That is totally visionary. This is the only logical step forward in the history of the TMNT! It must be! It is phenomenal!

Oh... Yeah, I live in America. I just don't pay attention to politics (and especially politicians).

Yes a road trip of comicons, out there supporting the comic, and whatever else they have left.
And maybe Peter could go out with the rest of the Mirage guys and go to shows, or do interviews. But see Peter keeps going oh well not me, oh well not the turtles they're not good enough gosh golly.
You know he sure gets p1ssy with fans when they give him an opinion.
But you know seriously he needs to stop being so down and nonchalant
about this property, this is seriously one of the greatest things to come along in a very long time and the longevity of the property alone has proven that.
I could crap out a better plan for this thing.
I'm seriously disgusted by their attitudes, and lack of any real creative ideas and media.

Agreed on that. Although did we find it yourself, or was it on the main page? I can't remember... If it's the former, I can forgive them for that. If they published it and released it unfinished, how unprofessional can you get?
