Very true, Those figure seriously would have sold very well.
Perhaps they didn't have the molds for them anymore.

can you tell orginal figures apart from the re-release ones if they are loose.
I know some of the accessories are diffent colors but is there a diffence in the figures themselves.

Yes but it is slight and you'd more than likely have to look at them in person as the plastics and colors used in the later releases are a bit differnt.

TMNT are not selling at Wal-Mart at all next year. Period.

What does this have to do with the topic at hand?

actually it has nothing to do with this topic. but Im guessing that he didn't know where else to post it cause he obviously doesn't speak english very well.

I however do have a question regarding the re-releases that Im hoping Vaughn, or anyone else for that matter can answer.

I know that they re-released the toon Mike without the pearl metallic paint job, but I havent ever seen the other 3 toon turtles done that way, so Im wondering if they re-released the others without the original toon paint as well ?

Mikey was the only toon turtle ever to see a re-release.

That's not a re-release as it's part of the same series.

What was he released with? After I said that, I tried to remember, and I drew a blank.

I wanna say I had that...but I could be wrong. Wasn't the paint slightly different, too?

Yes it didn't have the shimmer, it was just plain.
But it came out along side the Toon turtles figure series thus it not being a re-release like the 1999 re-release Toon Mike.

Great Job with putting the rereleases together.
Have you made a list of what figures were released for each cardback variation ?
