Does anyone know if I'll miss anything good on friday if I don't go??
There's a Mirage panel Friday night. It sounds like it's going to be rather content lite, though, so I dunno if it'd be worth it if that's the only thing you're going for. Of course, the Mirage guys should be at their table(s) the rest of the day/night.

Yeah that'd be one of the only reasons I'd go, I'm not even sure if there will be any exclusive toys at this show like they do at the san diego comicon, do you know Rose?

I'm sure there are companies that are having exclusive toys, but not any TMNT stuff (unless they're keeping them secret, which would just be stupid).

Yea wasn't talking about tmnt sorry, I'm interested in dc and marvel comics toys also. I've been collecting dc universe and marvel legends figures since there's been no tmnt figures for me to spend my extra cash on lol

I hear ya. I'm sure the NYCC website has the low down on any exclusives they've been notified of.

I am there Thursday through to Sunday... Isaac is me in case you didn't know. Let me know if you want to meet up! Or just look for a guy in a white Turtle T-Shirt with "TurtleDoc.com" on the back with a camera and a bunch of gear strapped to his back...

There you go

Exclusives are always fun, I'm still mad I'm not going to NYCC OR SDCC this year.

NYCC isn't as bad from a goodies point of view, All I'm really missing is the I, Of the Wolf free copy from Neil (great guy), a few other free comics, the Mouseguard stuff and muradia magma.

And Colin Baker's Signing. I'm really going to regret missing him both there AND at Gallifrey One.

If anyone is going to SDCC however, pick up the Doctor who exclusives for me, will you? Those are the only exclusives I know about, and already I wants them. Big finish 6th doctor...good....

The SDCC exclusives weren't already announced, were they?

The Doctor Who/Torchwood stuff makes me doubly sad that I can't go to NYCC. I hope they deliver at SDCC again.

One of these years I'm gonna get to Gallifrey One, but it's not this year. Alas...

The SDCC Doctor who figures were announced by the people who got the British distribution rights: Forbidden planet. They will be primarily sold at SDCC though, and the link above shows the selection. Me? I want them all, though 2 of the 5 are of particular interest.

Sergio Aragonés will be at SDCC, but so far not many Who guests announced so far.

I'd love to get to Gallifrey one too, but my budget precludes it.

Oooh! I saw those pictures but didn't realize they were the SDCC exclusives. I'll definitely be getting One and Two. I'll probably pass on blue Six.

Most SDCC guests won't be announced until a month or so before the Con. I'm hopeful, seeing how they were able to bring such an impressive bunch last year.

Gallifrey One's within driving distance for me, but there's still the pesky issue of having no paid time off from work that makes it hard to afford stuff like that.

Funny, I wanted blue six most followed by one with dalek.
I figure doctors one and two will eventually get a solo release each, if a bit different, and the cyberman is a reprint anyway. So 1 and the new Dalek and Blue six would be my priorities. Esp since the BF audio sixth doctor is actually worth listening to, and usually has the blue outfit.

You wanting color or Black and White more on one and two?

Well, hopefully there'll be more people you like there.

Ah, been in that situation. it's no fun. I'm hoping to find someone that can pick me up a copy of Times Champion there and get it signed even though I'm not getting ot the con. Charity novels like it are hard to get after they go out of print...

Leaning towards color, but I'll probably spend the next six months debating the decision.

Well, it's not. My roomies are same as they've been for the last 10 years.

I figured. It's easier to humor people sometimes though.
