Are you upset that any of these characters were not in the cartoon?

Out of these characters, who do you wish was in the cartoon?

Armaggon
Pizza Face
Ray Fillet
Dreadmon
Jaguar
Monty Moose
Doctor El
King Lionheart
Panda Khan
Scale Tail
Hothead
Sandstorm
Halfcourt
Wyrm
Hot Spot
Scratch
Karai
Null
Malinga
Oyuki
Verminator-X
Ninjara

I actually find it funny that when you think about it, the original cartoon hardly used any of the Playmates or Archie created mutants.

Which is why I hate it that people call the old toon a "mutant-fest" which is anything but the truth.

One of my favorite things about the Archie/old toon universes is the abundance of mutants. I'm not saying that lobster-people should start popping up in the Mirage comics, but its still fun to see them in the old '90s material.

The one-off mutant episodes of the old toon were always my favorites, and they helped expand the rogues gallery in an interesting way. A few more mutants in the old toon could only have made it that much better.

Lobster-people did pop up in the Mirage comics.

The Casey Jones: North by Downeast mini, wasn't it?

Perhaps that was an unfortunate choice of animal on my part.

Verminator X and a few others, but disapointed rather than upset.

They were probably better off.... I mean remember how certain people like Wingnut, the Triceratons and Slash were portrayed in the old toon? They woulda probaby made Verminator hack up hairballs all the time or have Armaggon use alot of fishy puns and whatnot. Probably throw a bent fishbone as a boomerang or something.

Exactly, now had Future Shark been adapted for 2k3, that could have worked....maybe.

I would like to see the entire Mutanimals gang in the 1987 cartoon.

Yes, although the characters were completely different in the old toon.

Mondo Gecko was just a regular lizard who got mutated, in Archie he was a human.

Leatherhead of course was a villain, in the Archie series he was a human named Jess Harley and was good.

Wingnut and Screwloose were villains in the old cartoon, but good in the comics.

Merdude was in one episode, but he wasn't part of the Mutanimals.

Too bad Ray Fillet never got included. They probably didn't put in Dreadmon or Jaguar because no toys were made of them.

That's the problem. I know. I like the Archie depictions of those people better.

I would have loved to have seen Armaggon the Shark! He is one of my favorite characters! I think it would have been cool to have seen he & Verminator X in the Red Sky season! Pizza Face also would have been cool to see in an episode & would have fit well! Ray Fillet definitely should have been! He belonged & showed up everywhere else with the TMNT. Dreadmon &J aguar would have made a good ep. together. Monty Moose was one of my favorite tmnt figures & would have fit perfect in some episodes! Doctor El is a maybe. Always thought Panda Khan was gonna show up with Usagi. Scale Tail should have had a team-up episode with Antrax! I would loved that cause both these characters were bad ass! I always liked Hothead & was surprised they never used him. I always liked the Scratch from the issue of Archie comics that had Nevermore the Scare crow & Nocturno the owl with him. I think there he was Hallowcat though & they are The Trio. Would have loved to have seen those 3 show up!

Santa Claus. Seriously, how did the most gimmicky show from the 80's/90's NOT have a Christmas episode?

I always wondered what Jagwar and Dreadmon would sound like in the cartoon. I definitely would've liked seeing them on the show.

I always imagined Jagwar as Dan Green (Mr. Mortu) with a spanish accent, and Dreadmon sounds like Hermes from Futurama to me lol.
