I know, I know, but like I said: get past the first couple pages and the ignorance dies down. There are quite a few people on that board familiar with the turtles. Anyway, my point was that there is a fanbase other than the TMNT fanbase that is getting excited about the game, and that's always good.

C'mon guys, those aren't the most ridiculous posts ever...they're simply uneducated on tmnt...but they aren't acting ignorant. They're more into games the comic books...no big deal. Perhaps the best thing to do is inform them, instead of mock them.

I saw more people complaining that is wasn't going to be Smash Brothers and pissed off that they claimed the online would be better. Then people saying they wish it was another franchise.

There were a few excited people but I saw more complaining.

Another character confirmed? Looks like a Baxter robot body, but I'm not sure. Did he ever have one that looked like that? I'm not familiar with this design.

Could be a Mirage-inspired Baxterbot... or the transformed Volume 4 Fugitoid.

EDIT: WOAH! Shredder has arm flesh!

EDIT DOS: PFFT. Reading the comments for that article, they think it's either Nano or Krang.

I thoght it was Nano until I looked closely behind Raph's bandana. You can see something Utrom shaped in a pinkish color right in the stomach of the robot. I think it's Krang.

I could be wrong, but hope I'm right!

It ain't Krang, he only has two tentacles and that's not even close to his body. I think it's just a suped up Utrom exo-suit.

It's cool and all, but I can't understand it being on the cover.

I think chances are good either of us is right. Krang was based on the Utrom and he's been cameoed as an Utrom before, so I think it's a save bet that if he's EVER used again, he'll be an evil Utrom. Chances are equally good it's just a random Utrom in an exo-suit, but I'm going to go with the most requested character so far for this game instead. Guess we just have to wait for someone offcially tell us.

Kinda reminds me of Stonebiter being featured prominently on the Mutant Melee cover without even being in the game.

Good points. There is gonna be an actual "story" to it, so he may be a new Utrom.... possibly a whiny evil one who used to be partners with Ch'rel

Anyone notice Shredder has no armor on his arm? Look under his shoulder pad. It's old school style, an interesting choice or a coloring mistake...

Honestly when I first saw that robot I thought it was the SAINW bot Shredder had but after seeing the Utrom inside was pink I just figured it's an Utrom in a battle suit.

Maybe he's that professor Utrom guy who had his own back up series in the newer volume. I forgot his name.

Shredder's arm is probably a coloring error. I don't think he actually looks like that in-game. The robot thing I'm guessing is an original character. I do see something Utrom-like in its stomach area, but I doubt it's Krang.

Also, that's some really ugly boxart...

Holy ****! I never even noticed that. Perhaps that's why everyone though it was the worst 2K3 game. They were all duped into believing that a second-or-third-rate character that was featured on the cover was actually in the game. I can imagine it now: "What?!?! I spent all this time beating this POS 100% and you're gonna deny me my Stonebiter fight? THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVAR!!1!
