I don't even know who the hell he is.
Looks like some Utrom in a new exo-skeleton design to me.
Seeing other characters playing has me a bit more excited for this game now.
I'm sitll more into the re-release update of turtles in time though.

So an original character? That does make me more hopeful for the game.

If they made an original character because there wasn't a "fighter" Utrom in the TMNT universes and they wanted an Utrom. If it had just been a character fromt he 2k3 show that they randomly inserted if he wasn't that popular then I'd still have very low expectations.

Well they could have just used Utrom Shredder in his same as it never was outfit, it's pretty close to this design anyway.

I'm pretty excited about the game again, now that I know that the character roster could suck, I am excited to hear every new character revealed...

So I'm sure its been discussed before but what stages would you guys like to see?

We know of Sewers, Dojo, rooftops, Jungle and villains hiding place or something didn't quite catch that.

I think we need City streets, Battle Nexus, maybe another sewers level, a technodrome level would be awesome. Other ideas,a foot army HQ level. triceraton ship, a dinosaur level because of time travel And I'm getting carried away again, this is what made me get disappointed in the first place. But its not my fault, you don't make things so vague and mysterious if you aren't going to deliver big surprises. Nintendo can do it, but can Ubisoft?

Levels?

April's pre-"City at War" appartment. (Plus fire hazard?)

Northampton farm.

Dimension X.

Oh, and Area 51 and/or DARPA.

Dude, for those of us with a life, it's probably best to just avoid the GAF. Seriously. I stopped lurking the place almost immediately after it became the go-to place for videogame snobbery and industry blow-hards.
It really isn't that bad, to be honest. Like any place on the internet there's a lot of morons there, but nearly every stupid comment is almost immediately shot down by people who aren't idiots.

Not quite. As you can see from the link I provided a few posts back, the Utrominators were in 2K3. They were part of Shredder's legions in Same As It Never Was. Sure, they were only a background character, and the one in this game may or may not be brainwashed by Saki, but it's not like Mutant Melee didn't have Sleeg and a movie Monster from a film Mikey was watching as playable characters.

I don't see how anyone can call a generic Utrom an original character. They put the Utrominator in so they could have an Utrom as a playable character. The Utrominator exo-suit itself is just a convenient means of putting the Utrom on equal grounds with the rest of the fighters.

Also, it's funny as heck. "Uahh!"

It's not about the stupidity there. It's entirely about the elitists bullsh*t attitude that nearly every single member seems to have. It's the videogame equivalent of some kind of Mac forum, or a forum dedicated to people who view movies as art. Pretentious assholes.

That, and the fact that people from the game press troll the place, or else go there to bask in ego-gratifying glory of dong sucking forum kids.

Also, new trailer? I'm guessing it's already been around, but I just saw it posted on Giant Bomb. Shows footage of Casey and the Utrominator. The game looks as awful as ever.

Just realized there seems to be a new stage(s) on that trailer. One of them is the turtles lair which is based on the movie lair, theres also splitners meditation place from the movie, I think its also an actual stage and not part of the turtles larir stage.. Theres some kind of futuristic tech lab or something and the other seems to take place at the top of a mountain/tower that seems to have a secret base underneath since the ground is metal.

Foot ninja?

I've killed about 700 million of those punks, their presence is insulting.

It looks like TMNT 2007 movie game mixed with Super Smash Bros...and it doesn't look fun IMHO at my first glance...

This too. The noise the Ultrom was making would seriously get on my nerves. I mean, you're fighting this guy and all you hear is "AAAAUUOGH!"

I thought it was funny the first time, but the second time was just ridiculous... mainly because it was right in the middle of some epic camera shot of him.

Well this could go in two ways.

Either they(or Mirage) wanted an Utrom and dug through their archives to find an Utrom that would work for a fighter.

Or they randomly chose a random character for no reason like the one guy from Mutant Melee, and hell some of the choices on the Tournament Fighters games.

It really could be both of them, of course I hope its the first choice.

BTW when I heard the "AAAAUUOGH!" I thought it was stupid but when they repeat it at the end of the trailer I realized its meant to be stupid. So now I find it humorous "AAAAUUOGH!"

disappointing that the utroms suit looked like fugitoid's battle armor thingy, those misleading b******

I really don't hope a regular foot is gonna be a playable character, waste of space. I hope it's rather a survival opponent or something.

PS2:

I gotta say, I kinda like this box art.

They also have this as Best Buy's box art.

Wii box art's actually a week or so old. But now that there's PS2 box art... I'm starting to think that there may actually be a PS2 version... even though most sites are still reporting that it's Wii-exclusive, and IGN actually deleted their brief entry for the game on PS2.
