I'm pretty sure Utrominator is Professor "The Grape" Obligado. I mean, it has to be, right?

Or Dr. Oolric. How's that for obscure?

Don't be silly. It's obviously Prof. Jordan Perry.

That's fricken hilarious.

Well, the reason why I'm pushing for Krang to be put into the game or to rename Utrominator Krang, is because once the game is released, casual 80's OT fans returning to the TMNT world will be calling him Krang anyways!

I don't understand why they couldn't just use Krang. What made them think anyone would care about some obscure 2K3 character?

'Cause obscure characters are what TMNT fighting games are all about!

If it pans out that no OT characters get used, I would put the reason down to simply Peter Laird.

Looking back at all three "Tournament Fighters" games, I'd wager to say that you're, indeed, correct.

Don't forget Mutant Melee. It had Sleeg from Turtles in Space and a monster from the horror flick Mikey was watching in Notes from the Underground.

I've seen those episodes many times and I still not sure who you're talking about. Yep, that's obscure alright.

The movie monster is seen in the VERY beginning of the first Notes of the Underground episode, in the horror flick Mikey is watching.

Sleeg is one of the prisoners in the Triceraton prison in Turtles in Space... part 2, I believe.

Sleeg was the Turtles' guide in the Triceraton prison.

You know what I just realized?

Counting Ubisoft is being really lazy with both their TMNT games kind of brings me to have this theory of mine...

They are re-using their 3D models...well whats to stop them from using the 3D models from the TiT remake. Even if its for the 360 those character models are not that great a PS2 could easily make them.

Seems plausible, so that would include baxter stockman (fly), metal head, leatherhead, krang, OT shreeder skin maybe?, tokka, rahzar. stone soldiers, ughh maybe even cement man...

Ubisoft is going to give an in-depth look at two characters' moves during Comic Con and post the video on their site afterward. We get to vote on the characters they demo, so go vote: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...7/m/8411098277

If it had an option of "a new character" I'd warrent joining and voting. For what it is though, it's not worth joining yet another site just to voting. They need to put this on their front page and let anyone vote instead.

That has ran across my mind as well. It actually makes more sence after looking at the new stylized look of characters like Metalhead. Also Leatherhead looks like a cross between the OT and NT Leatherhead and that would make more sence here to. I would also love it if they have TiT skins for the Turtles and Foot Ninjas. Anything to make them the non-CGI designs.

Still, I'm not going to hold my breath. It'd be to perfect and when was the last time TMNT did that?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash-Up will be on display at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Not going to be able to make it to SDCC this year? Don’t worry, we still want you to get a taste of TMNT: Smash-Up, that’s why we’ve put together this poll. We’re going to record a demonstration of the game straight from the show floor and you get to pick for which two characters we show! (This is not the final roster, it's just what's being shown at SDCC!)
Does that mean we're not getting any new characters shown on SDCC?

They could mean that those are the only playable on the SDCC demo and a video will show new character(s). It could also mean there's no news to be had. Just gotta wait for SDCC I guess.

The Turtles in Time models look like barf when compared to the awesomeness that is the Smash Up character models, so I really doubt they'll re-use them for Smash Up. We'll see, though.

Well, I could see them doing a few touch ups for them. Hell, they removed the pupils for the Turtles models.

Anyway, I hope this is the case. I want a HUMAN looking Shredder, damnit!
