FOUND CASES THAT FIT VINTAGE TURTLES

This site carries plastic cases especially made for Playmates toys. including the early TMNT line. They are the same makers of the Star Case, which is a well known plastic case for Star Wars figures. Here's the addy: http://wholesalecases.com/star-wars-supplies.html

This site has been brought up before. If I recall, I believe the ones that fit the Turtles have been out of stock from some time.

To my knowledge, nobody (including that kid back east whos name escapes me) has hit the every toy mark yet. Every figure, fine, that isn't difficult, but every toy is another matter.

Looks like the play case for the Simpson's would work well to. I would like to know either with the star trek play case or maybe the Simpson's play case, if someone here have put there figures in these cases with good results then I think would will order some.

I'm curious about these cases as well. I have some vintage TMNT MOC (with the fan club forms) and want to get cases to protect them. Which ones work for the Turtles? The Star Trek ones, or the Simpsons ones?

Can anyone verify as to which kind of cases fit the Playmate figures?

I contacted that seller and he said he didnt remember which model it was but he got it from wholesalecases.com and the deminsions are 7.75 inch wide, 2 inch deep and 9.75 inches in length, so looking the website, it looks like the Playmate Star Trek cases would work, maybe a little big..

I just bought a bunch of these Star Trek cases and they don't work so well. I could force the carded figure into the case but that starts to ruin the side of the card with creases and bending. I tried figures from 89 and 90 (Casey Jones, Metal Head, Foot Soldier). They do howerver work with the 25th anniversary figures for what its worth. I wasn't too happy!

oh btw, the internal size of the cases are 7 5/8" wide x 10 1/4" high x 2 1/8" deep. The height is fine but the width is too small by about an 1/8 of an inch.

Good to know.. so just the 25th Anniversary figure actually fit?? What about figures from after '89, '90?

I'm not sure. I only have figures from 89,90 and 91 and none of them fit. Not sure about 88 or any other figures. Yup the 25th anniversary figures fit. I have don and mike encased.

Saw this post below in an old thread and thought I'd post it here

oh, and the only figures so far that I have had that do not fit are the wacky action figures (wind ups) the card was a little larger.
