Yes, MMPR is awesome. Next to TMNT(I like TMNT a lot more), MMPR was one of my favorite shows in the 1990s. I recently bought the 7.5" Green Ranger action figure. He's from the line called 'Super Legends Extreme' and he was $17.99. Cool action figure.

MMPR fans rejoice!

http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=136&itemid=14977

So next year, Disney is starting over by re-airing the original MMPR. Plus, Bandai is doing a full out new line of the original series. Shown are the Blue and Pink Rangers figures.

Now maybe we can finally get a Rita figure.

EDIT:
Offical stop motion crossover between RPM and MMPR:

1. There's been better seasons. I love MMPR, but DT and RPM are the best the francise ever put out. The best MMPR season was probably the third, where Rita and Lord Zedd had more of an advantage and actually won for most of the season.

2. It actually wasnt as stupid as you claim, it got a lot of stuff past the radar like assisted suicide and terrorist bombings.

3. Ditto on the show's soundtrack.

I think JF and SPD were better, but ya MMPR is far from the end all beat all PR series. It's mostly just opinion though.

It just because repetitive and had some really bad edits in the early stuff. I guess we'll see next year how it measures up

I just watched the RPM/MMPR crossover. Supremly hilarious stuff. It was clearly produced by people who know their **** about PR...and watch a good dose of Robot Chicken.

SPD was alright, more than overrated, but looked like had a budget. It also had the benefit of having the guy who originally composed the MMPR theme song on the soundtrack.

Jungle Fury was the best season Bruce Kalish ever did on his own

I'm willing to been these are based on animation models that will be used in ads and other merchandise.

As a Ranger fan, this is great news! I wonder if it was inspired by the high number of votes from fans for the Pink ranger Super Legends figure. I was really looking forward to just that one, but I'll sure as shell buy them all!

Ditto on hoping for that Rita figure. I'd also like to see some good non-morphed Ranger figures.

You think? They look like slightly retooled RPM figures with new gloves, boots, and heads to me.

I've been buying up Ranger lots and local collections over the summer and when the rest of the stuff arrives am sorting it in groups. I'm will auction the groups on eBay shortly after.

I've kept a couple of figures for myself which are of the season one Spider monsters and the Shark guy. I like the monster figures better personally. The are great!

Red Zord Vehicle

Yellow Zord Vehicle
The good/bad: 4". That's GI Joe and the video linked above proves it (pause when Black attacks the grinder, he's a lot smaller and their holding him higher). That's good if you're like me and collect that scale. It's bad if you want that SL Zeo Red to fit in with SL Zeo Gold.

Aside from that, it's mostly good if not great. 3 villians! And good ones too! Zedd strikes me as odd since he doesn't show up until season 2. Of course, it could be that they'll compress the show down to the important/best episodes (I hope not though). Alpha 5 AND Zordon?! Damn, never saw that coming.

If the Dragon Dagger plays the song, I'm getting it.

I find it odd that they list Retrofire Megazords since I've yet to hear of this year's fall line hitting (want that Thundersaurus Megazord so bad!). I how the "Mighty Morphin Dino Megazord" is an upgrade of this year's mold.

Has anyone else picked up any figures from the newer assortments? I snagged an Evil Grinder, Full Throttle Silver Ranger, and a Throttle Max Gold Ranger today. However, I'm now unsure whether I want to open the latter, since I'm not sure if the helmet is removable! Y'all wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?

Does that mean that a Green Ranger MMPR morpher might see the light of day in the US?

Went ahead and opened it -- the helmet is removable, but exposes holes on the sides of the figure's head. I think I'll keep it because... well, whatever ... but I'd probably recommend going for the regular Full Throttle Gold Ranger if you have the choice. He's got the most impressive color scheme of the Full Throttle figures, after all, and the dull grey armor kinda mutes it.

I might try painting it for kicks.

EDIT: On the other hand, this Gold Ranger's head is actually painted gold, whereas (I think) the normal one's head is just cast in the gold/bronze plastic. Of course, the helmet shape is slightly different and the holes in the head are still there, but it really doesn't look that bad considering that there would be black wheels there anyway. The more I look at this guy, the more I like him. Hmm.

Got Super Samurai Green Ranger (Ninja Storm) today. Total impulse buy because, dude, he comes with a Hamster. Plus the sword is cool (and oddly enough it looks good with my Joes). I really didn't watch much of Ninja Storm, but I like him.

What do you guys feel about the upcoming figures being all buff? I was expecting sculpts similar to the Jungle Fury figures.

Happy they aren't anywhere near as bad as the 15th Red Ranger line. Those were terrible looking. JF and RPM spoiled us with rangers that don't look like He-Man.

I honestly thought more people would complain about the new scale or the gloves "poofing" out then the more bluff look. Before that, they looked far worse than these.

Btw, TRU.com has the line in stock right now. Goldar and Green are alredy sold out (last I checked).
