My official "bitch list"

The camera sucks. Why zoom-out if an item appears? If I want one I'll go lookin for it.

The quick drop is too sensitive, this sucks for minigames.

Turning around is a friggin chore, yet facing the wrong way seems pretty easy.

Slow to get up.

No ducking.

The left/right + strong/weak attack moves are really hard to do consistently, which sucks because those are the most powerful

Special moves aren't that great.

On-line mode is very bland.

Bonus characters aren't playable for Arcade.

The announcer is probably an autistic robot.

The items mostly suck.

And the GRAND FINALE....... There's no stand-out levels! I hate some of them, but when I try to choose I just end up picking random because none of them are particularly good.

Too true... Not only that if you're being attacked from both sides you'll barely be able to hit one enemy before being attacked by the enemy behind you cause your character reacts too slow. Many times have I lost because my character didn't react to my turn command. (or turn and attack which ends up in attacking without turning )

The AI has flawless timing to hit you while you're down. On the other hand the player has more chances to attack when the AI decides that it's invulnerability time.

Which makes it kinda confusing to use some of the moves.

At times it does the dashing attack at times it doesn't. Lost lots of fights in survival with Karai because of her switching moves.

Some of them even tak a lot of time to pull off.

Bombs that go through unblocking characters, forcefields that don't protect the player... The holo kitty claws (Byakko) is the only good item when the claws appear on normal places...

Something funny: The Ubisoft Logo has OT color Turtles... Rubbing it in our faces...

wow I hate to say this, but I enjoy the game. Really it doesn't take much to get my attention, reason being I am very open minded. only complaint about the game is the roster, but to me I am a man that likes game play more then anything else.

The roster it self is good for me, cause when going into this I knew I was going to do these matches the most

Leo vs Raph
Leo vs Nightwatcher
Raph vs Nightwatcher
Leo vs Raph vs Mike vs Don
Leo vs Shredder
Splinter(me) vs anycombination of 2 of the 4 turtles

and the likes...

pretty much the game was all I wanted, so I enjoyed it. really I understand you people who is pissed off at the roster, and thats okay. one thing we can all agree on is that Vanilla Ice is worse then any Rabbid, imagine Vanilla ice rappid.

My granddad on his way back with the game. I'm excited yet, I'm disappointed at the same time.

It's wikipedia. Any ol' shmuck can just waltz on in and edit the articles. I one found a Batman article that contained the "N" word and KFC, so I'd probably just take it with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, the world remembers that the Ninja Turtles exist and quickly try to forget again.

Would it have been too much to get the music rights from Konami and not The Ramones??

Am I the only one who doesn't have trouble getting up nearly instantly? I use a GameCube controller and unlike Brawl where you can get up by pressing pretty much any button, this game requires to flick the stick up.

Anyway, some of you need to calm down for a second. While it's your opinion to love or hate the game, hating it because it lacks stuff from the 80's cartoon is ridiculous. The game was never announced as a 25th anniversary game with elements from every series. It was announced as a fighting game. And while Ubisoft are asses for hinting at stuff that weren't in the game, you guys shouldn't have expected a lot of stuff from the 80's cartoon for the simple fact that there's an on going cartoon series going on(along with the CGI Movie) and that's what kids are currently watching, so of course the games are going to be based on that. It would be ridiculous to have a massive amount of stuff from the 80's cartoon when, aside from us old school fans, which probably amount to approximately 20% sales, nobody would know what the hell is going on.

And of course, just like most of you, I would have wanted a bigger roster and it would have in fact been great to have character that I grew up with like Stockman as a fly or Bebop & Rocksteady, but I understand why they're not in.

If anything, to make the roster larger, they could have added the 3 characters that appeared in nearly every series. I'm talking about Stockman, Leatherhead and the Rat King. And while I stopped watching the current cartoon when I started working during the weekend, I once saw that the Turtles became friend with a Rhino that eventually dressed like Rocksteady and a Warthog that eventually dressed like Bebop. These guys could have been in.

Anyway, aside from that, the gameplay is ok, but for a game based on the Smash Bros. series, I'm shocked by the total lack of fluidity in the character's movement. And what's with the stupid move that makes you dash toward the floor? It killed me multiple times during minigames.

As of now, I feel like Ubisoft have laid the ground wok for a rather interesting game, but I don't think the series will truly shine until (if) we get a sequel.

I've finally gotten my hands on the wii version. It's a very enjoyable game, I especially loved death match. Can't wait to unlock fugitoid!

I have the game but just haven't played it yet.But from what I hear I seriously wish they can make a sequel with more characters.

A good roster would be...

Heroes

1.Leonardo
2.Raphael
3.Donatello
4.Michelangelo
5.Splinter
6.April O Neil
7.Casey Jones
8.Leatherhead
9.Usagi
10.Utroms

Villains

11.Shredder
12.karai
13.Hun
14.Krang
15.Bebop
16.Rocksteady
17.Bishop
18.Rat King
19.Baxter Stockman
20.Tricertons

Now this what of been a better roster.

I actually like the inclusion of Fugitoid, though. Utrominator, outside of having a retarded name, isn't really too bad (though Krang could have just as easily filled the same role). The only things I don't like about the roster is as follows:

1) Nightwatcher should have been a costume for Raph. Even if he were to play differently, there's no excuse for the character select screen to have two of the same character. Especially with such a tiny roster.

2) That's another thing. The roster was too small.

3) Not enough variety between the TMNT universes. If you're going to market this game to "longtime" and new TMNT fans alike, and say that it's for the "hardcore" TMNT fans... you have to do better than just slapping on a bunch of 2k7 characters sprinkled with a few 2k3 characters and call it a day. UbiSoft claimed this was "a Brawl 25 Years in the Making", but that's a load of horseshit.

4) Rabbids? Seriously, why did they add them? And three of them, to boot? I'd be more forgiving of this if the roster were huge, but it wasn't even a decently sized roster (by today's standards). The Rabbids make up roughly 20% of the roster. That's just ridiculous, especially when you consider that this is a TMNT game, not a "crossover of several different franchises" game. The only crossover rabbit that should have been seen is Miyamoto Usagi.

Agreed, but people will say that they play different or Look at Street Fighter with Ryu, Ken, Gouki, Sakura, Gouken, etc. They're basically the same character but different looking or something along that line

that is true. It's not like we're asking for a 52 MVC2 Roster, but SSBMelee had a bigger roster than this.

Maybe they meant "a Brawl 2-5 years in the making"

If they wanted to add Ubisoft characters they could've used better ones like say Sam Fisher or The Prince of Persia... Or even better use ACTUAL TMNT CHARACTERS (even if they were from the 2-5 years used as reference for the game)
