That was mind-blowing. LOVED IT!!!!! I almost died from anticipation. The commericial at the end said they'll show again 3 more times!!!?? I thought it was a one time thing but hey I ain't complainin'.

I hope TMNT will be on TV forever.

No. The hour and a half presentation was the one-time-only deal. Next weekend, they start with the half-hour edits, one each week for three weeks.

Now that I think of it, it kinda makes sense why old toon Splinter had a small role. In the original cartoon Splinter didn't always go with the Turtles to stop whatever was going on, they usually just went to him for advice. Only in the gravest situations did Splinter go with the Turtles.

As for the original Turtles being somewhat silly, it is true in the original cartoon they were a heck of a lot more competent and smarter than in this movie, but I didn't mind as it was all in good fun.

Original cartoon Don invented a time-stopping machine for goodness sakes, old toon Don was far more intelligent than 2k3 Don.

Finished watching it on my Tivo, I thought it was great, Lots of nice homages, Especially the scene where you saw images of the multiverse TMNTs.

Most of the characters you see walking the streets were from episode 1.

I just went back to rewatch Turtle Tracks to see how goofy they were, and it turns out their HUGE pizza love wasn't as played up as I thought. I remember the later seasons better because I was much older, but it was quite a surprise to see just love much they loved pizza from the very first episode.

I think the point where I exploded from pure bliss was when Shredder showed images from the dozens of Turtle unvierses, and we got to see stills from the live action films, the Imagi flick, the Dreamwave comic, several covers from the Mirage comic and even...the freakin ANIME Turtles!.

Viacom seems to be monitoring You Tube like a hawk, if not most video uploading places. Part 1 of the movie was uploaded and taken down in less than an hour (parts 2 through whatever didn't even make it up, likely due to cease and desist messages from You Tube to the uploader on behalf of Viacom).

So I wouldn't expect it to appear on You Tube until Viacom lowers their guard, which could take a few days to a few weeks, maybe.

Then again, It's not really surprising to me since I remembered posting a clip (along with other ppl) of that Kanye West incident with Taylor Swift at the MTV awards and seeing it being removed minutes later lol...

Viacom is serious with their stuff.

Yeah, I know. I went to watch it, and just within the 22 minutes or so of the OT, they mentioned eating pizza like 4 or 5 times. Today's movie was almost 90 minutes so it's almost like they're cutting back on the pizza.
