There was no official DVD release of the OVA as far as I know. It's likely the same one I have, which is fan-made. I haven't watched mine yet despite having it for over a year, so I have no knowledge of its quality.

No self respecting collector anyway. Here is the thing. The people who are into the hobby enough to know WHY he is charging 5.5k, are the same people who are into the hobby enough to know it isn't worth 5.5k.

that tmnt mask is like 25 bucks halloween customes that u can get anywhere. Look at the sewer lines cuttin off two sides of the head,that is a factory production piece, probably some tmnt masks made in china.

i was actually thinking the same thing. funny thing is, i compared it to my don post mask that i used for my turtle costume and the bandana groves are similar at best, and the eyes look spot on to my mask. with the exception of the beak and the cheeks and mouth, it looks like a custom piece. too bad it wasn't really a prop at all.

So why do you continue to buy from him? hasnt he sold you a fake before?

i didn't buy it from him this time around. i mentioned earlier, my girlfriend saw this and bought it for me as a gift to surprise me, which was a nice thing to do but had i seen it prior i would have told her. cheers.

yea im going to talk to her tonight. def have to tell her in a nice way tho. lol dont want to tell her "hey, that craps fake, return it i dont want it lol".

that would be bad. seriously tho, that seller sold me mine under a very different ID before, and I noticed after last night that he goes under 4 or 5 different ebay ID's so i didnt know at first it was him. always a horrible thing to happen, esp when your on the look out for turtle props.

I would just explain to her that, as nice as suprises are, on big ticket one of a kind items, she should always check with you first.

I had a similar situation with my fiance recently when she was about to pay 2 grand for a pair of Gobbledygooks I could easily ID as fake.
