I wouldn't say that. It's not nearly as rediculous as the OT, but it's still a kids book. Either way, highly suggested reading.

Hamato Yoshi and Splinter are one and the same, the turtles wear different colored bandannas, colored elbow and knee pads, and initialed belts. There are significant differences though...Baxter as a fly would have been great in Archie, but that never happened.

The question wasn't how similar to the story are the two, the question was simply if Archie was as ridiculos as the cartoon. Although you defintion of ridiculos may vary, I stand by that it is not.

The Archie series was awesome! If you get the chance, pick up the Future Shark trilogy and the Dreamland pentalogy.
