Casey: Does anyone else hear that?

*A small beeping catches Rocksteady's attention. He takes out his communicator, and a picture of Shredder appears*

Rocksteady: Uh...uh....hi boss!

Shredder *angry* : Well? Did you get the turtles?

Rocksteady: Well boss, y'see, it's kinda like dis...

Shredder: What?! You didn't get those turtles, did you?! Where's Frost? Let me speak to him!

*Rocksteady, quivering, hands the communicator to Frost*

Shredder: Ah, finally, a mutant with a brain. Frost, how did the mission go?

Frost: I am sorry, Master Shredder, but we are currently out-numbered.

Shredder *angry again* : What do you mean you're out-numbered?! There are only four of them! You can easily fight two, and Bebop and Rocksteady have the newest lazer gun model this earth has seen!!

Frost *nervous* : Uh....the guns were destroyed in battle, Master Shredder. And there are more than four turtles....it seems as though they have gained allies.

Shredder *enraged* : Those blasted turtles!! Will I ever be rid of their troublesome presence?!

Shredder *calms down a bit* : Okay, I've got a lock on your position. I'm sending a transport module to pick you up. Oh, and tell Bebop and Rocksteady that they're going to pay for losing those laser guns....

Rocksteady and Bebop: *GULP!*

Frost: Thank you, Master.....

Shredder: And YOU! You're supposed to be good! You're going to have some explaining to do when you get back to the Technodrome!

Frost *cringing from all the yelling* : Y-Yes, Master Shredder.

*Shredder's image disappears from the communicator. In a few moments, a transport module plows through the surface. The three mutants hurry in*

Bebop *yelling* : Yous ain't seen da last of us!

Rocksteady *also yelling* : Next time, I'm gonna beat up all of yous!!

*As Bebop and Rocksteady step in, Frost hesitates, looking at the advancing group of turtles*

Frost *to himself* : I hope we get to meet again. Maybe......it will be under different circumstances.

Bebop: Frost, hurry up! Dey're catchin' up!

*With that, Frost hurries into the transport module, and it disappears underground before any of the turtles or their alllies could reach it*

Blane threw his arms up in disgust.

"Just when things were getting interesting!"

He stood there for a while staring at the hole left by the transport device. He then remebered about the other people in the alley. He turned to face them.

Leo lowered his swords and sighed, "Cowards."

Oni walked over and stood at the edge of the transport tunnel. "Aren't we going after them?"

Leo shook his head. "They'll be back sooner or later anyway."

Randi took a step closer to the group and muttered to no one in particular, "And as we move one, only more of it hits the fan."
"More of it???" Mike said as he walked around the group to the other side, "More of what?"
Randi scoffed, "Never mind."

Fishro continued to watch, maybe if he followed them he'd be able to find where these five, six others live; and THEN, he could not only get a promotion for capturing Tezlof, but a raise for the others!

Leo put his swords away. "Come on, let's go, there's no point in staying here. Besides, if our fight didn't attract attention, the module did."

Oni edged around the hole to join the others.

Blane watched Leo.

"Wait!" He raised his hand. "Who are you and what do you know of the foot?"

Blane bent down and picked his gun off the ground. He replaced it in his jacket.

Leo paused and turned to Blane, wondering if he could really trust him. "The name's Leonardo, and the Foot are our enemies. What do you know about the Foot?"

"I know they try to run the streets. I also know that they took Anya." Blane looked at the floor.

"They take people from the streets, people no one would notice if they went missing!"

Leo crossed his arms. "Sounds consistent with what we know."

Oni looked at Blane. "Who's Anya?"

Blane looked at Oni and tried not to stare.

"She was my friend, my only friend until they got her." Blane clenched his fist. "We grew up on the streets together, she was the one who helped me move here."

*Somewhere underground, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Frost arrive at the Technodrome. They stand before a very angry Shredder*

Shredder: You fools! You mean to tell me that you had one of the turtles cornered, and you couldn't even defeat him?!

Bebop: He broke our toys, boss!

Rocksteady: He threw those sharp star thingies at us!

Frost: He was quite skilled, Master Shredder. If I had more time....

Shredder: Silence! This is unexcusable. I expect failure from those two numbskulls *points at Rocksteady and Bebop, who lower their heads* but not from you, Frost. You came to me with high praise! I expect much more from you!

Frost: I am sorry, Master Shredder. I would have defeated him, if it were not for a stranger interrupting our duel.

Shredder *raises an eyebrow* : Who?

Frost: I do not know. He seemed to have been a gangster, but he proclaims that he is an enemy of the Foot. He held us hostage for a short moment with a gun.

Shredder : An enemy? Hn. Then it does not matter. He will perish with those turtles.

Frost *reluctantly* : Master Shredder, why did you not tell me that those renegade turtles resembled my appearance?

Shredder *annoyed* : Why is that important? Did I not tell you that they are blood-thirsty barabarians trying to destroy the Foot Clan?

Frost: Yes, but....

Shredder: You better not be thinking about backstabbing me, Frost. If you join those turtles, I will kill you myself.

Frost *frightened* : N-no, Master Shredder! My loyalty is with the Foot! I have sworn it on my honor!

Shredder *satisfied, he grins menacingly* : Good. Now, what should I do to punish the three of you?

*Frost, Rocksteady, and Bebop all hang their heads in sadness*

"Bah, you're the one we shouldn't trust--what did you say your name was?" Randi thought for a moment, "Casey Jones. Truthfully, I don' even see how he was able trust me enough to take me to thier hideout... with his 'I hate guns' an' all..." She trailed off and shrugged, "To each their own."
Mike scratched his head, still trying to figure out what 'it' was.

Leo sighed and rubbed his temples. He was getting a headache again, he seemed to be getting them a lot lately. What he thought was ringing in his ears turned out to be distant sirens, getting louder. "Okay. Look, we have to get out of here. I'm gonna head to April's apartment."
He looked towards his brothers, Randi, and Oni. "You all can head back to the lair."
He looked at Blane for a moment before speaking. "Since these are your streets, I'll assume you have a place to hide. We're grateful for your help."
