Nah you're right, I'm not famliar with film sites (I'm not much of a movie person) but my point is this; we ALWAYS get the big news/scoops before everyone else. A good 40% of the members here are 'in touch' with alot of the TMNT folks all the way from playmates, to mirage & so fourth.

It's deffinately a fan made mask, a great one at that. As I said, I wish they'd look like that. Hypothetically, if the existence of the TMNT were possible in real life outside of a franchise, I think they'd look like that.

While maybe more realistic, it makes him look very ugly and old, more like a villain. I don't want the turtles to look like that.

I say go for it! Is it ugly? Yes. Disturbing? Absolutely? Give kids nightmares? you bet! But could it make for an interesting movie and take the franchise in a direction nobody ever dreamed it could go? Don't know, but it's worth a shot out of pure curiosity.

Like Powder, though, I don't buy it as legit. Viacom/Nick probably isn't that bold.

What scenario are you referring to? That I'll eat dirt? No worries.

I haven't seen you in this forum before though its obvious you've been a member since 04... being that you don't seem too active here, in case you didn't know, its already been made clear to us that the film will likley coincide with the 2012 CGI kids show. We have no confirmation that the film will even remain live action anymore.

Latino Review actually IS pretty reputable.

I hope its not real, though it did grow a little on me already but yeah I'm going with fake on this one, too freaky especially now that Nick has the franchise. I don't think we'll start seeing things or news about the movie until 2011 though, which seems far away but its getting pretty close.

Well i saw this posted on Latino Review also. So far, as far as info goes with movies they have been pretty accurate with just about everything. And atleast the have the professionalism to state that something either is or isnt legit when they post it. But the fact that one of their top reporters was sent this image to his in-box is hard to say anything negative about. While the guys who run the site might bash alot of stuff they do get alot of exclusive content first hand before anyone else. So just because this is The best TMNT site/forums ever DOESNT mean that we will always get every TMNT information first, if you think that you, need to check your ego at the door.

So anyways relax this is the first new bit of info we have on this new movie/series so untill something else comes up for right now just gotta take every thing with a spoon of salt. Personally i find this design interesting but i hope this isnt a final design for the faces of the Turtles.

To be super truthful, I adore the neck of the sculpture a lot. It looks cool to me, and the head has way to much muscle detailing it it and completely throws it off balance. Interesting bandanna, but it looks really cheesy.

But gosh, Brodie. Your first comment is too amazing. Wishing to can it XD I can't stop laughing every time I read that.

Just reiterating what several others have already said, Latino Review is one of the premiere sites for leaks, sneak peeks, and spoilers. For example, they had the full script and story for "Fast & Furious" about six months before principal photography began and had plot points way back when people were still wondering if Vin and Paul really were going to return.

I guess it makes more sense looking at it more that way.

I have to totally agree with the eye thing, a good pair of eyes could actually pull this look together.

But even if this was legit, this most likely is just a proto of the actual thing, so there would still be still many changes that they would under go to improve it.
