Did anyone else think how awesome it would be to have a B&W toon based off of Mirage style after seeing that part of the movie?

Not necessarily. Since FF, all the time-travel was pre-destined. So, there's a workaround out there. Trust me.

So does the movie then erase the future they went to?
Like gobo said in another thread, all the Shredders you see in "Tempus Fugit" could be a result of a time portal accident when they tried to send Serling back.

In a perfect world, yes. In a world where it would be on 4kidsTV or Nick... no.

Being that the fandom may soon be in a deadzone of sorts, without new stuff... this would be a perfect time for someone to make a comic adaption of turtles forever lol. Fan made of course. Who wants to collaborate on that?

Or perhaps a comic sequel?!

I like the idea of a collaborative comic adaptation! I'd be happy to apply my OT stylist pencils! It would be fun to see various movie scenes or characters done in various artistic styles. And in complete movie-to-comic adaptation style, we could always add a few additional word bubbles or bits to fill in some plot gaps that the movie might not have included.

As for a sequel, I don't have enough faith in the fandom for a full-on follow up. However, a series of epilogues could be fun. Such as what mutant Hun did once he was unerased, what really happened to the OT characters once they all got back to their universe in the Technodrome, or whether OT April ever got away from the mutant bananas.

Haha that'd be uber neat. Somewhere down the line I'll start up a thread for it in the fan works lol. We could even just do epilogues like you said, kinda like short stories. I could see one where its like a mirage vol. 1 issue, them reflecting on what had just happened and having some connection in their 'present' time thereafter...

Yeah, like whether Mirage Shredder ever did end up fighting the Turtles Prime or whether they just decided to go out for pizza like they were suggesting.

Exactly.

Imagine if they re-did the movie in live action for 2012 rather then whatever else they have planned!

Would you guys dig that?

I think the toon version is good enough for me...but if they crossed 1990 movie and tnm that would be cool...

I think once the art is submitted, we could get a talented letterist and colorist to give the whole thing a unified look. But that's assuming we get a good number of contributions.

a B&W mirage-like cartoon would be sweet, though like someone pointed out unlikely. maybe a short as an extra when/if TMNT Turtles Forever is released on DVD

I can just imagine the story he got when they finally went home.

'My sons, what took you so long? ...! Why are you all eating pizza, and...Michaelangelo, why are you putting an initialized belt buckle on your belt!'

Uhh...dead? I'm not really that familiar with the Mirage comics, but I thought Shredder killed him in those fairly early on, am I right? And they mentioned they fought Shredder "to avenge Master Yoshi" when the other two Turtle groups showed up.

Mirage Splinter was very much alive at that point Teddy. He doesn't die tell much later in Vol 4 of a heart attack.

It would be interesting to see the ramifications of all the TMNT meeting up like that. Turtle Prime would have changed and with it the rest of the universes I would think.

Ohh, I see. So, how do we know when exactly Turtles Forever takes place for the Mirage turtles? I mean, how can you tell what "Volume" they're in during the movie? (Sorry, I'm kind of a Mirage N00b.)
