Sewer Lair Reference

Howdy guys, I'm still plugging away on the mod, and as part of that, I'm recruiting a map maker to create a "Sewer Lair" map for me to use in cutscenes and the like. However, I'm having a hard time finding any reference images. I imagine that y'all would know where to look, so I was hoping you might point me in the right direction. Also, I know the Archie comics series ran a cut-away breakdown of the lair at one point in time, so maybe someone has a scan or two. Either way, please lend me a hand.

Hey, bud, I hope the FFvTR mod is coming along fine!

You are in luck in regard to your question as this topic has been discussed before with some reliable conclusions as to the layout of the Old Toon Lair:

I tried to provide screenshots of each section to the best of my knowledge, but even more helpful references are Blade Runner's outline:

It ain't perfect, but it's not far off. I too have no idea where the library goes. I did notice it has the same mate as Splinter's room. Maybe Splinter's real room is behind the screen at the steps and his meditation area and the library are one and the same. It's possible due to animation errors (I mean, you said it yourself that Splinter's room keeps changing). Also, I could have swore Don's lab and the kitchen were connected (which would make sense), but the pictures say otherwise.
EDIT: I made the Bedroom to big. Don's Lab top wall should be nearly even with the kitchen. This is just general placement.
The diagram compares well with the original model sheet (even though it's very blurry):

Blade Raider's map is a very close match outside of a couple of rooms, which I'm guessing are the weapons room, training room, and library (next to Splinter's room?):

I am familiar with that illustration, and I believe it is from one of Archie Mutant Universe sourcebooks. That lair is substantially different than the one from the TV show.

I'm positive the training room has 2 exits so that is definitely missing and there has to be at least 2 doors into Don's lab since there are episodes where they do not pass by his room to enter it.

I have just started watching the series again so i will keep an eye out and let you know if I notice anything that might help.

has anyone here thought of making a real model of the turtles old lair? That would be so wicked.
