Ugh yes. I was showing my Dad how ebay and bidding works. I happened to have this open in a tab so it was my example. I told him not to hit confirm and he did. Its a nice auction and a good deal but I can't afford that expensive right now. I'm going to have to speak with the seller about it.

Sucks though its a killer deal.

Let me know if I'm wrong here... I recently won 7 figures from the same seller totaling 25 dollars. They are all loose and complete from the original line. She's trying to charge me 22 dollars for shipping and wants to send it parcel post. I just sent her a message stating that this is a complete joke seeing how she could use priority flat rate and get them to me by Wed for $10.70. Should I stick to my guns and refuse this total?? Why should I pay 22 dollars and wait a week to get them?

(sry if this is not the right place to put this but it does pertain to ebay.

Well, did it state anywhere on the auction how much shipping will cost? Did you ask for an estimate before you bid?

4.95 for the first item $2 for any additional.... so $16.95 should be the most I should pay but even that is inflated. Thats a good general rule if someone buys 1 or 2 off you. I can't justify spending 22 bucks on shipping and wait a week when for half of that it could be sent to me in 3 days. I would def pay the 16.95 because that what was stated in her page... but I dont think i'll go a penny higher. You would think that common sense would kick in at some point though... Hell now that I think about it for $5 the priority small box could be used.

Here's one of the items...

Well, the only thing I would suggest is tell the seller you will pay a fair amount for the shipping. If they dont accept that, then simply dont pay for it. Sellers cannot leave negative feedback for buyers, its the other way around. So, unless they want an unpaid auction plus a negative feeback from you for trying to make extra money off shipping, they will have to deal with it.

Your right... what I'm probably going to do is plead my case with her but if she won't budge I'll send payment and after I receive the items I'll leave negative feedback on each individual figure for being unreasonable with the shipping cost..

Maybe you could take up a collection from people on here who want individual pieces...I know I'd like to have that giant 2003 Raph.

That's really not fair on your part in my opinion. You paid less than $2 for that PizzaFace, do you have ANY idea what it costs to list stuff, and how big the cuts are that e-bay AND PayPal take? When you bid, you agreed to her terms. She shouldn't have to adjust her terms just because you bought so many figures and don't think the shipping is fair. If you didn't think it was fair, you shouldn't have bid in the first place.

To me, what you are talking about doing is dishonorable. Just my opinion. Others here may feel free to disagree, but if they do they're just wrong

I list things all the time... It costs nothing to start a bid at 0... Ebay takes I believe 9-10%...some quick math for 2 bucks thats like 19 cents.... and I already said that i would pay the 16.95 because thats what was listed in her auction... so what exactly is being dishonorable?? I always try to do right when people buy from me and have them receive there items as quickly as possible.

Really doesnt matter what price it sells for. That is besides the point. They sold it so thats that. The point is the seller is charging more than they need to for the shipping. That isnt right. And is against the rules. So, it sounds like the seller is ''dishonerable''.

thats really my point entirely... I'm a seller as well.. I don't expect people buying from me to worry about the 10 cents ebay charged me to put something up... I'm not asking her to take a loss.. I've actually in the past given out partial refunds if shipping cost less than I charged.. I'm just looking for similar respect

If it comes to that I might have to. Depends on how he reacts. The only thing in that set I need is the boxset of the original 4 turtles but I honestly don't have the extra income to be buying anything extraneous right now. I basically have enough disposable to buy a few comics every month and that's about it.

Thanks for the idea though I'll let you know.

it is his. Very sad to know he is sellin everythin.

Nofuture4u, i wanna tell u that the chance u gonna sell this lot out for one shot is infinite close to zero... ... especially for what you are askin bro. U really should break them apart to at least 30 lots/series, it will take u about two days to finish ur work/listin but it is worth it.
