figures rereleases in 2001?

I rember back in 2000/2001 the Biglots in my area got a bunch old TMNT figures. they had muckman, robo rocksteady/bebob ect. I think some of them came with a coin and they had that more genteric looking turtle package with the 4 turtles around the package. Were these re-releases or just old stock?

Those were re-releases, but they were from 1998, I believe.
Biglots just caught up late, one would guess.

Yeah, i remember that now..me and my girl went to see "babyboy" and had like hour to killso we walked thru the mall and a KB toys had them... wow 10 damn years ago..thanks for making me feel old LOL

Im pretty dammed sure i did, along with a crap load of others like Tokka and Rahzar, foot soldiers, ect. My friend got tokka and robo rocksteady. I rember his toka had different color paint than mine.

Are these re-release figures worth less then original issues? I cant seem to find much info about them on the web.

No u didnt bro. No muckman were re-released.

And yes, the re-release figures w coin or card are kinda rare, the ones w coin and card together are exceptionally rare.

1998 KB re-released figures came with nothin, they also worth closed to nothin.

Yeah, this kind of stuff happens with these closeout stores. My local TK Maxx put a "new" 1997 Star Wars POTF Dengar figure on the pegs the other week!
