You know, I'm really dissapointed in a lot of you folks out there.
I know I'm not the only one, but my life has been just really bad (understatement) for the past few years.
This is by far the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me and I'm deeply touched.
Who knows if I will even be a fan of the new series?
But I'll tell you this much, my respect for Nickelodeon has skyrocketed.
It also feels nice to have your talents which normaly go unoticed talked about and respected by people in charge of something you care a great deal about.
I'm very excited and happy about goings on with this show and you folks should be as well.
I've never been one to brag and as you all know any information of rare things I come across I've always been happy to share with the other fans.

If I have learned anything from fandom (and this one in particular) you need to have a thick skin and learn to just take what others say with a grain of salt. The important thing here is, you're happy.

You are getting this amazing chance and you can't let a few other bitter individuals ruin it for you. Fandom is what you make of it and I personally always try to make it fun. I won't lie I had a little spat of jealously the first time I read this thread (I think probably every fan here did

) but that passed for me and then I just started to appreciate much like I said in my last post the fact that our portion of the fandom has a voice now.

And honestly I am pretty pleased with everyone that has been picked because while not knowing any of you personally you all seem fairly well spoken and open minded, which I think is important.

So enjoy whatever is happening and please tell us all about it as soon as you can

Obviously people are gonna be upset when secrets are going around. I am sure everyone that visits this site daily to check if any scrap of new info has been released wants to be "in" on everything....

I personally am so excited that Nick is reaching out an any way to the real fans of turtles....

I have a good feeling about this show.... I can't wait til you can tell us what this is about with the boxes! I have a feeling we may never be allowed to know until the show is out though.... and I know I wouldn't risk whatever invite they got for anyone.

The point being brought up that the people in charge care about the longtime fans is really cool. Sure, it sucks that we're not as up-to-date as our Golden Ticket winners, but whatever. It's still awesome that Nick cares about us. Ever since they bought the TMNT, some of us have become increasingly jaded because, "The big corporate machine won't care about us like the independent comic studio did!"

Actually no one who got one of those was the first to post pics here.Vaughn posted his on his Facebook but didn't even comment on this until the next day. And as stated, there's an NDS no one can talk about what they mean so all of this is incredibly pointless. If people were allowed to talk about it, they would. That's not hording info.

Exactly. That and we're not sure why those who were chosen were chosen. Yes some are huge names in the community, but there are others who are also well known for their near obsession with the Turtles who didn't. We can't jump to the "Oh, well of course Rose, Vaughn, and Stephan got boxes....I mean the pulled stings." It's just juvenile.

That's the problem. Not people wanting to know what's up, that's understandable. It's the attitude that they pulled strings, or the way people are acting like this is a conspiracy to withhold info. It's ridiculous.

I personally think this is a very nice thing from Nickelodeon. I feel happy to see that they care for the fans, and this is a good way of showing. Also, it makes perfect sense that the guys that were chosen to receive the pizzas can't talk by now, but I'm sure they will as soon as they can, and there's no reason to hold any bad feelings against them (when they've given so much to this community).

There probably are some other people that deserved to get one but didn't, but in my opinion we shouldn't get all negative about this just because of that.
